This was a very good walk around. What I found strange was the lack of people out and about at 11AM. It looked like you had the ship all to yourselves. We were booked for an and of April 2021 crossing in Queens Grill but it got canceled. It was to cost $12,000 including return air. for 2. My rational was that it was the cost of 2 RT business class tickets to London but we got 7 nights on a very nice ship. If you every get out to LA you should spend a few nights on the original Queen Mary in Long Beach.
Hmmm, It's not a cruise ship. It's a Liner. And since it's the only one, I'm not sure how it's "quite old". It's due to get it's mid-life overhaul in June 2026. The carpets in the corridors were replaced in November 2023 so they look quite new to me. If someone wants to sail on an ultra modern cruise ship, I think they have quite a few to choose from. 😀
@@TheTravelMunchers Queen Anne is different, but the other three Cunard ships were designed to look dated (on the inside). QM2's exterior looks are so you don't feel Atlantic storms. Yes, average passenger age is higher than most others. Our personal average is 64, but we're far fitter than most much younger folk. We take a cabin on deck 12 and spend most time on decks 2 and 3 but never use a lift! 😀
