There are those who aren't so wealthy but they consistently "buy houses, make repairs/renovations and flip'em"... It's often a quick way to make some big $$$ so long as the RE market is doing well. I remember a local brand new house that was on the market for $999,999 when it was built BUT then the economy fell apart and the house say for over a year and then was being advertised as "on sale price $499,999". So they dropped half a million off the price tag! But yes I get what you mean that $$ can be better spent than on just, "Look y'all, this is my 5th mansion..."

I mean who of these people will EVER really cover tens of thousands of square feet in practical living... They won't. I do understand that those with a lot of wealth tend to put it into real estate for obvious reasons. But just thinking about your "primary residence", it's not practical to have the equivalent of "30 houses" inside of one house for 1, 2, 3 people...

The older I get, the hard it is for me to rationalize one person having that much space to themselves, when some people have none. Yes, the stuff is beautiful to look at but I have no more depressing thought than to wake up one morning in that class and if I did I would have to immediately disburse it into my community just to be able to live with myself. I mean even the average single luxury automobile would be WAY beyond my justification to own. Billionaires buy assets to take loans out against. They then use borrowed money to spend as they please and to avoid paying taxes. This is part of how they get away with paying almost no personal income tax. Jeff Bezos' official salary was like $85k a year as Amazon CEO.

Sure some average guy like you and me, if we had the money to buy a house like that we couldnt sell it for more because we lived in it. But people like Jordan, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, etc, theyve all sold homes and made profit off of them just off of who they are and living in it. For many famous people these homes are more investment than a place to live. Its also knowing when to buy and when to sell.

Most entrepreneurs fail. We only see the success stories in media. For each of them there are 4-5 failures where people got wiped out. You can become wealthy as an entrepreneur or an employee. The risk profile however is very different between the two. For the vast majority of people working a high nd low paying career, investing wisely is the best and quickest path to wealth.

You don't need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life, if you can't get a response then make sure you are approaching Him in a humble way. Any amenities at all, even normal stuff like heating or whatever probably come as additional features so the real price to “actually” live in it comfortably is probably closer to 100k.

Many of these images seem very stock. I don't speak for anyone but I imagine they invite friends or even allow staff or associates to stay at various properties. Typically they have property managers who maintain them.
I don't know if people are aware of all of the additional expenses tied to owning such a home. All of these kinds of homes have a grand room and endless bedrooms, and how much does it cost to heat the whole house for seven of the twelve months in a year. Staff? What would it cost to hire 8 people and pay them $40.000 or $50,000 each for the job they perform. Property taxes? Yikes! I'm an average Joe and my property taxes are about 2% of the current market value of my home. I'm not going to calculate what 2% of 3,000,000,000 is because to me it's way too much. So what I'm thinking is that it is very expensive to be rich.

Watching these, after being told, for the 100th time by my wife, that I am a sore loser, I have wasted her life and I shouldn't have dared to marry since I do not possess a fortune.
When looking at these I am reminded of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire in England. It’s the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The main house has a floor are of 81,000 square feet and it has over 300 rooms. It’s it on estate of 35,000 acres and it’s not for sale at any price. It’s been a location of many movies including ‘The Duchess’ and ‘Pride and Prejudice.’
There’s no way any one person can do anywhere near enough to earn anywhere near that much money. They only can have that much due to financial laws and those laws are manmade and not laws of nature. It’s steals from the middle class and gives to the rich. Billionaires get that rich by manipulating and fooling the working class. It’s a gray and not a law of nature
