This is by far my favourite exploring channel because you don't talk the entire video, unlike every other explorer. Most people are like "oh my God I think there's a ghost" "wow I feel some negative spirits here it's crazy" so thank you for not making constant pointless commentary.

Ryan Zielke depending on the circumstances of a hospital becomes dangerous for occupants and staff they have the right for their own safety to leave this means anything can be left behind the hospital built across the old hospital in my hometown left everything including machinery files and even beds even tho we had security outside to stop exploring it was because of mold aspestos and two floods

The building could not have shut down in the 70s considering two things . First the medication you found had an expectation of 96 I think those medication are only good for two years so if that medication came from there then that wing was operable in the 90s and second the breathing bag you found we call them bag valve mask it's to ventilate a patient and that particular one is def from the 90s considering the style of it . The ones used in the 70s and 80s look quit a bit different .

yeah this place was definetly still operating until the 90s, but yeah Shona im only 27 born in 1991 and I still knew what it was like when internet wasnt really a thing yet. I notice a difference in people born in the 90s vs people born in the 2000s, they tend to be a lot less patient for instance because they're so used to instant gratification that the conveniences of modern life give them.

I remember Byberry, on the other side of the Blvd, during the very early 80's, I have a few pictures to prove, No video though, Damn, now an industrial park, now only the admin bldg remains, refurbished, how I miss those days!! My fav Urbex explores are the abandoned Loony Bins, the horror, the pain, the misery, you could feel it in the walls, and just the all around feeling of darkness. Great job, humans!!

the irony that the patients would do anything to get out of there and we go above and beyond to get into those places after they close. The judge that tried me for b/e at NRPH explored Byberry as a kid!! So he let me go with a warning but he wasn't so easy on my friend whom was the reason we got caught in the first place cuz mofo couldn't listen. First and last explore with that fool lol. Only cost me $200 to learn that lesson lol. Granted reason he didn't go easy on him was because when the cops searched him (and none of us knew he had this on him) he had a WHOLE OZ of weed, and though we are a medical state he wasn't medical and who brings a whole oz with them on an explore? You pre roll a few joints if you smoke and explore, bringing a whole oz, you deserve what you get and we are very lucky the cops didn't group us in with that idiot. He also brought a DS bag that had a GLASS PIPE instead of papers and a really nice grinder..... fool. Since then I pat down and search bags and pockets of newcomers to the group before we leave the vehicles. Five years, 3 days a week, 8-16 hours a day I spent on the asylum grounds and never got caught till that fool. Thankful for a judge who spent his teen years hanging out in Byberry and what were the chances he would be a judge in the district of one of the most nationally famous abandoned asylums. My cover story to the police was actually so good they said it was the best they ever heard and would have believed me had the place not been nationally famous for over a decade and had it not been october its height of activity in the year. They did say I was the fanciest explorer they picked up with my tim hortons hot chocolate in hand and they let me take it in the car with me and didn't handcuff me. The irony here.. this was the only night we hadn't called the police station in advance to give them hints and clues as to when and where we would be on the property. We enjoyed playing games with the on site 24/7 security and the police officers that regularly patrolled the area as their station was on the backside of the grounds and you could even view part of the grounds road system from the station. The reason we alerted them was because in our crew was an ex grounds keeper to the property from when it was still open, yes he was older than all of us easily by 20 years. This meant we had the master key ring. So when they started to chase us we could lock down entire sections, closing them off from us and taunt them. It would take them too long to find the right keys to unlock shit and catch us before we disappeared because they never really had to use the keys. This also meant we got to control what other explorers had access to and didn't have access to. I pretty much called it home but was not part of the project of people who actually got to live on the grounds for one year when it was privately owned and the security was let go, the new owner moved some people into the grounds to keep others out but it had the opposite effect... Since the power house was still operational for most the time we explored it and we had a cable tech in our crew we ran cable into the rec center and projected tv onto a wall from a projector. Less for watching, more for leaving running to spook people that came after us. The countless fake satanic rituals we set up for the ghost bloggers that frequented the place and then being able to read their reactions later on their website compared to what we actually witnessed.... NRPH was my playground, my stage and easily the most memorable time of my life. I hope Byberry was as equally entertaining and memorable for you.

I used to attend this place around 85/86 when I lived in Orangeburg, NY. For English lessons. There was an nice old lady, a nun. Sister Angelina I believe. There was also a church where I received my first communion. That's where I used to attend classes. It was only me. So this center did not completely close ( at least not entirely) during the 70s. It was quiet enormous and creepy though. You would cross paths with extremely ill mental patients. Some were left to wonder around by themselves, without supervision. Some would even scape the center.

14:02 Nah, that's just the Patent date, dudes. I have a 1930s landfill in the woods behind my house, and I spend a lot of time digging up bottles, jars, jewelry, car mechanic items, etc. And in those early patent years, they dated everything. But, that's just the date it was invented and put into production. Not the actual date per se that that projector was created, just the year it was designed and got an official patent with the gov. But, those dinosaurs are impressive, too bad they're just standing there, in isolation, slowly, very slowly dying, rotting away. But they sure made things to last back in the day! Too bad they can't be saved. Where's American Pickers when you need em?! And fyi, just looked it up, that projector is worth thousands! Looks like they were produced in the 1930's. That's a treasure right there!

UnicornKWO_9077 u Some of the state hospitals shut down units and buildings but kept others open. Kind of piece by piece shutdowns. At least that happened here in Michigan where there were huge state psych facilities where one lonely building would still be open housing a hundred or so patients while the rest were shuttered.

Your video is from 4 years ago,and you say it has been untouched for 50 years, which is inaccurate . Orange is the new black was filmed there in 2013 ,so the damage you see is actually pretty recent

I was just thinking watching your video I watch a lot of abandoned exploring videos and the way society is going today I think we should make a world map of these places just in case of emergency like a dictatorship government or the collapse of society I live in Newfoundland and there’s a lot of resettled towns here I have the map for them I say if it’s truly abandoned it’s free to take over are used to work at a pawnshop after 60 days the stuff used to be ours I will consider that the same rule if it’s abandoned and you take it over for 60 days it might as well be yoursThe one rule I consider must make better than what it already is and no companies only people regular people
