My name is Devin, and I am an Urban Explorer. I enter forgotten, historic and abandoned buildings to explore as well as appreciate and experience history first-hand. Putting the spotlight on lesser known places that have had great past significance is my goal, and this where I share my memories.
That town at the end is Breezewood. It is still plenty busy as traffic on I-70 from Washington and Baltimore all pass through there to get on the existing turnpike.
This is not WESTLAND MALL .After watching the video this might be the Tel-12 Mall , Westland is still open , was there today to order glasses at Lenscrafter. A lot of these malls were designed alike. But Westland is still OPEN.The sign on video is not from westland Michigan as it has a BIG marque . This might be Northland Mall closed in 2015 ?
I was a teenager back in the 80's and i used to hang out with my friends and go shopping with my parents at malls like these back then. Watching this vid brought back so many fond memories for me. It is shameful that this mall has fallen in such desrepair, it just needs to be demolished and have something else built in it's place.
There’s a house in wellsville called the pink house It looks like this but kept up I want to buy this property and turn it into a pink house 2.0 (Edit) yes it looks like a home from 1913 in the wellsville pink house wich would mean yes the interior if I was to save it would look Edwardian or Victorian again I like those eras better then 30s to present
Imagine busting your butt building this house, waking up every morning going to work putting in blood sweat and tears just for some rich guy to tear it down
I honestly don’t even know what the inside of a Taco Bell looks like now since everyone just go through drive thru’s these days but I do remember that, I can even imagine the smell inside there.
The place still had power? That's crazy. Awesome video though. It does suck that the Pandemic was the beginning of the death for movie theaters. Even though they're open again most people aren't going anymore because of inflation. Also it's a lot cheaper to stream movies from home these days. Streaming services has pretty much killed actual movie theater experiences and going to the theaters. Edit: The Trolls in your comments...lol.
A team really needs to go through this house and save what can be sold and trash the rest. The house looks like it's in perfectly good condition for the most part.
Jen Air has been around for years. Most of the time Jen Air stoves are parted in the middle with grilling abilities and gas stove grates. They are very nice.
Sad what happened to this place. But it seems it wasn't just a major factor that caused all of this It was a major factor, plus a bunch of minor factors that happened. Just shows how fast things can spiral out of control. Especially when others allow it to do so.
I traveled the Pa Turnpike as a child and youngman with my parents and siblings going to New Jersey to visit our cousins. I remember those tunnels every well.
I have driven on the turnpike multiple times as a western New Yorker living in Virginia for many years. I never knew about this section of the highway. Thanks for your presentation of it.
This mansion is absolutely stunning! And all those valuable items just left behind! I would’ve thought that the widow would’ve tried to liquidate the contents of the mansion or donate a lot of it since she knew she wouldn’t be living there since she couldn’t afford it.
Well I will take every f****** toy in that goddamn room I don't give a f*** you call me names like oh you just a little but you just want some toys so you're a grown man so I don't give a f*** about nothing I can thousand dollars for $20 or $125 you know I can smell it on eBay for that my niggaa I'm not even black and I can say the n word
Beautiful house. Even at first glance it looks nice - from the outside it catches the eye both for its appearance and for its nice green surroundings. Suppose that the technical condition of the house was not the best and it was decided to abandon it. So why was everything left there? We are delighted with it and we are outsiders here - but the owners of all these interesting objects just left them just like that, deciding to start all over again? I am curious about the history of this house and the family living in it.
