Exactly. Thats probably what will happen. They won't make it to this in time and if some do, it'll problem malfunction and not allow those who do make it there to get into it. A lot of dead bodies will be outside. Exactly like the Walking Dead scenario, without the zombies.

New bunkers stopped being built decades ago. People have been refurbishing missile silos. There's only been a handful of "new" bunkers built and this isn't one of them.

I don't think these people think it through. I really doubt you are able to have your own weapons because they have house security. So if things get bad for some reason, who will be in charge? The guys with the guns. It's almost out of a Sci-Fi movie. Food and water gets low. Do you think these contract security guys are going to be loyal?
