Book an appointment with your local PTAC they will guide you through this process free of charge as they are an arm of the government and have direct contact with the SBA and government agents. Think of them as your guidance counselor when you are trying to enroll in college.
Just to save y’all some time. 100-150k one on one with her on a jet. 50-55k for the course and her guidance. 20-20k for the course on your own without any guidance. Seems more like gate keeping for people that already got it but in the interview she’s marketing to “broke entrepreneurs”. Make it make sense.
I went through the VA and my states webpage and all this information is free you just have to know where to look. Another lady charges 3k to give you stuff that's free. 😢

There are services that do this for free but one should come with some knowledge of this topic too.
I'm "team us" but many small business owners don't know that they can get assistance through the SBA or PTACs for free. The SBA office works directly with government contracting offices to help them meet set-aside goals each year. I know because I'm a contract specialist in the USAF.
If you are a minority the gov has money. If youre a minorty veteran the goverment has money for you. Now if you are a minority, woman, veteran you are the top of the food chain. You are literally a walking potential millionaire.

is there any video on youtube where someone actually teaches you how to do this? The process is well known, but to get your first contract you need business references etc. All these videos are of people just saying "This is easy, buy my book/class, I did it you can do it" Where can I learn how to actually do this? There are sites to find contracts all these convos just beat around the bush and give general knowledge thats searchable. I teach this I teach that, where?? skip through the video and it seems like the same thing has been repeated over and over. I see comments saying "I've learned so much!" Like what?? please enlighten me. Someone share a link where someone is showing you actual steps to take to solidify a contract. Also there is a 600$ fee to be able to access the contracts I've seem maybe 1 video that mentions this. Getting an LLC and EIN is extremely easy....

Anyone interested in government contracting should look to see if their state has a Minority Owned Business certification. If your state does you should research what resources they offer to help you get started in this area.

Step 2 register with govt agencies Step 3 Understand the difference between prime and subs Step 4 Understand Prerequisites and Bid on as many contracts in your desired work fields. 5 to 1, 3 to 1, or 10 to 1 probabilities..Less bidders in local and state bidding, but smaller overall budgets, so a greater chance of winning but less earnings. Step 5 Back to the drawing board to recieve funding, including credit and the possibilities for leveraging banks and other businesses income to secure bids Step 6 Build you past performances and dont breach any contract Prerequisites and avoid litigations. Step 7 Invest your profit back into your business. I know I'm missing some stuff but I just want to say that having certifications can be beneficial but it's not mandatory, but it would be a good idea to be certified with as many certifications because they have budgets specifically for businesses with certain certificates.You can also link with other companies certified with specific agencies, and work as a prime contractor or consultant to multiple companies and charge a retention or administration fee to every contract, upon approval of award. It’s so ran in the ground now. I followed her 4 years ago and the niche has grown over saturated since then. The requirements have even changed for certification. You can just bid and become a millionaire tomorrow. And most agencies are requiring more now.

As a potential first time business owner, I have to be realistic as to how much I will be able to get done. I don’t have a banker, accountant, lawyer, mentor, insurance broker, advisor and never have so although I’m going to need one for any business I’m going to start, I won’t be able to afford it at first. No retirement, investments, home ownership, trying not to be disheartened, but I have to start somewhere, I haven’t even been able to come up with a good name for my business yet
I have never had multiple streams of income, yet have always been able to not be in too much debt. However, I have always been broke, only with good credit. Paying for my vehicle has put me in more debt than I have ever been before, I will be making monthly payments for 5 years for the first time. I have always purchased my vehicles outright, never had a loan before, so everything is new to me, and making a bid seems so intangible presently
