@@user-tc3ou6sy5f the consumed energy is the price for the security and independence. it's like with backup disks of a personal computer. total waste of time and money. until the day comes the internal disk goes bad just from one day to the other. then you'll be happy to have spent the wasted time and money, at least if you have files that cannot be recreated (e.g. photos) or would take a lot of time to recreate.
At my age I will never understand it. But I did enjoy the video. And it is so good to see you again. Hope we will be seeing more of you Mike, you have really been missed.
Missed you Mike, hope you're doing well and the kids are coping too. Glad you're back, but understand if you can't be on here all the time in a regular basis at the moment. Take care.
Fascinating information about Wyoming and Bitcoin. Mike, you have the charisma and ability to describe the working of everything you take on. Good to hear you again like this.
So glad to see you put out a video, Mike. I was wondering how things were going with you and your situation. I don't know anything about this subject, so I would have to leave that stuff up to those that do have the knowledge. I do miss your farming videos, no disrespect meant to anyone. Thanks for sharing your time with us, I hope you have a great weekend, what's left of it!
Mike , its great to hear from ya !!! This has been the absalute best video for me to understand bitcoin. !!! Just like what you did with the ranch you made this content so sooooo interresting. !!! Missed you Mike! You made the channel "Our Wyoming Life" what it was. Now it's just ho-hum. May you continue to have success in your current endeavors. I hope your children are doing okay.
@@leo99991same here - Erin becomes annoying with all her little giddy changes, which throw shade on Mike at times, and never giving him credit for anything that he contributed to that ranch all those years. I’m not happy with Jeff either.
Hey, Mike! Great to see you. Bitcoin mining sounds very interesting. But I think the problem is getting alot of people on the same page. Ty did a wonderful job of explaining in layman's terms but so much information. I feel it is an awesome concept. Hope you can do some more videos to explain further. Have a great weekend, Mike! Until next time.
Hi Mike ! Great to see you on again! Don’t forget to update your channel s description to reflect your new direction for this channel? Good luck with this new venture 👍🏼
To those that know nothing or nearly nothing about electric and/or computers. @6:00 that computer board he was showing off draws about as much power as an electric dryer and you know how much heat that generates
Mrs Sonia Duke is gradually getting the recognition she rightly deserves. She's worked for it and this is only a testament of her good works for families
So good to see Mike back in the saddle. When Mike previewed this video some time ago, I started researching BitCoin. I had heard of it of course. I don’t get it, and probably never will. No problem, because I really don’t care. A highly controversial endeavor given the enormous energy needs. I think one thing I did understand is that BitCoin has a finite life span that will be reached in like 20 years. Then what happens? Not a rhetorical question. Anyway, Mike I hope we can look forward to more videos. I think you should give us some updates on how you are doing. None of our business, I get it, but there are a lot of us out here who remain concerned about you.
Nice. You can suggest alternative power zources like solar or wind. Store them and they will have their ops without stoppages. Extra power may also be zent to farmers at discounted rates. Farmers can also create. Bio energy farms. Nice diversification of your vlog. Keep it up.
Mike, it is great to have you posting videos again especially on topics which provide new opportunities for farmers and ranchers. But I have to be honest with you, I still have no idea what bitcoin mining is.!
Very interesting information Mike. The one West of my town is extremely noisy. In fact the residents from a nearby area are suing the company and county. A former co worker lives 2 miles away and she can hear it.
I have no clue as to what Bitcoin is or how you get it. So I’ll stick with the dollar bill. But how you doing Mike??? How’s the non smoking going???? How are YOU doing???? That’s what I want to know
Just spent a week in Hulett helping out on a newer ranch.. gotta look these guys up next time I am in town. Im a network guy by trade with an office Id like to transfer to right there in Gillette.. so this is of great interest!! Thanks Mike!
I had no idea that this is the process, it is quite interesting. Good to see you Mike, it has been a bit hope to see more of this in the upcoming months thanks for taking us along!
even if so they are not in control of it anymore. just as mentioned in the video, no single person is. only the majority. bitcoin addresses (comparable to bank account numbers) generally have no connection to any name. everyone can see the transactions going from one address to another but nobody knows who the owners of these addresses are. except the owner of the address tells someone.
Some of us are home immersion mining and reusing the heat to heat our homes. I have 2 ASIC miners in a small C2 Foghashing set up with a heat exchanger hooked up to my hot water heater intake and diverted to a water to air radiator in my furnace to heat my home in the winter. 2years and counting. I run my miners hard during the day to use the excess solar power my home solar creates so I don’t have to sell it back to excel at a discounted rate. Works for me. Not to save the world, but for purely selfish reasons. If you take the time to understand this, it’s a no brainer. ROI was 8 months.
