Just sharing :) The jackfruit that you pry open is called "Nangka" in Malay my dear. The one that you tried at pasar malam is called "cempedak". It's a different species. :)

A little correction besty, those are not Jackfruit but it's call 'Cempedak (Artocarpus integer). the flesh of the fruit are generally softer compare to jackfruit and smells much stronger. it can be easily found in both Indonesia and Malaysia. btw you can actually eat the seed, it taste kinda like chestnut

Erlina Tan It is not cempedak, it is jackfruit, look at the structure in the jackfruit. well, usually people will fried the cempedak , but not in this video, he uses jackfruit to fry. It is very easy to find and is different from cempedak, which is seasonal.

but that keropok lekor is not original. I know because I was born and grown up in Terengganu...east coast state of peninsular. The keropok lekor you eat actually called keropok sagu (based on the look) have lot of flour rather than fish. the original keropok lekor have a lot of fish taste. I did live in KL for few years before and used to go to the pasar malam anywhere in KL.

Jason Carter it's really not a matter of money, it's my job. There's only two people at my work who do what I do (and what I do needs to be done daily. Not to mention I'm a workaholic and love what I do. I work 5 days a week, other person two.Taking off would leave the other person working everyday for an extended period of time. I was born and raised in Tokyo and also lived in Singapore for two years so until I can travel, I have my memories. And Sonny lol. ...... And you had me at donkey rides! 😍❤️

The one thing about hijabs is it forces people to look at all a womens facial features. Women with hijabs are beautiful, as an american, I could never bc Its out of my norm but respect 🙌. My hair is my best feature, I dont wear makeup, I cover my whole body minus my arms, my face and hair. I put my focus into my hair.

When I go to my friends wedding in the maladives, she is muslim. I said for the respect of her culture and religion, I will wear one. But thats bc I will be the only non muslim persom there. Plus, Its a respect thing.
