Thanks for your honest review. You had the right attitude taking this cruise. You knew it was an old ship, you knew what the price point was, you had zero expectations, and you understood this is a “chill, go with the flow” short getaway. Anyone booking this cruise without all of those things…..don’t.
Even just watching, it was a bit odd to see the pool decks basically empty 😅 I'm glad to see a more realistic review of this cruise though, as like you and other, I've seen some pretty bad reviews of this particular one.
@@toyaj5173 I was actually on an MSC cruise right before this so I took the Brightline train from Orlando to West Palm Beach. However, I took an Uber from the train station to the terminal. Depending on where you fly into, Uber may be a good option. If it's a longer distance, you can probably rent a car for less than $100 but it will add some time to your trip (and you'll still have to get from the rental car dropoff to the terminal). Brightline actually included a small credit ($10?) for an Uber from the train station so that's a great option if you fly into a location near a train station.
It was definitely a different experience but I still had a great time! I think it's one of those things where if you just set your mind right and adjust your expectations in advance, you'll have a great time.
They are going to start doing 3 and 4 days on Paradise where they go to the Keys also. I'm looking forward to trying that. Again, love this little ship!
