I watch Ending Explained because I like the plot but I'm too scared to watch it myself :D

This movie started out really well. I wish the entire movie could've been about the girl being haunted by the spirits from death row. It was a much more interesting story.

Moral of the story, moms will protect their young even in death 🙏🏻 Edit: I'm only referring to the film here guys, obviously there's horrible moms in the world.

The only character that dies in the first movie that is featured in the rest of the movies.

I want Elise back. I don't care about plot or how it affects the story just give me Elise.

The ending made it clear that everything that happened in the first Insidious was Elise’s fault. If she hadn’t left the door open in the Lambert’s attic, Dalton wouldn’t have been able to venture into the Further and gotten lost as Elise herself explained in the first movie. That’s how the Lipstick Face Demon got to him. Really made me mad because she didn’t just cause that but her own death as well. If Josh hadn’t gone into the further to save Dalton, Parker wouldn’t have possessed him and finally killed Elise 🙄🙄

I only watch these cause they have no jumpscares

I wish they can make another movie focusing on who "the red devil" is. like how he became to be...and maybe find a way to bring Elise back in another movie. like reincarnation or something..... like in the characters eyes, they see another woman but in our (audience) eyes, we see the actress Lin Shaye. I hope that make sense...kind of like in the tv series ghost whisper where we (the audience) see Jim but the characters see Sam....see that's two movie ideas right there. I just love this series.....it's been a long time since someone write a scary movie that was both scary and made sense....scary movies these days are either "kind of" scary and don't make sense at all.

You sir are the only person on you tube that can successfully explain the insidious saga correctly making me want to watch each and everyone....everyone else reviewing down these films BUT you makes them seem amazing good job!

I watched this when I was younger, before many interactions with horror films and it spooked me of course, but the one thing that really got me was the build up of the girl in the bathroom, whom Elise believed to be a ghost, a feeling that her father seemed to back up. Then later revealing that she was real and her father was capturing and killing them.

Dude why do always upload when am about to go to bed??? WHY ? WHY ? WHY?

I think they should make a show based on younger Elise from the second movie and her cases with the occasional cameo/scene of the older Elise before she died. Maybe having a series starting as Elise going through old boxes after Jacks death and having a series around her flashbacks to cases tied to objects.

So chronilogically, it goes: INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3 INSIDIOUS THE LAST KEY INSIDIOUS INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 (This is a question, not the confirmed order)

Chapter 5 with the new "Ellise" confirmed! And lipstick-face demon as an extra bonus.

The sign that welcomes you into the town reads the towns name but then it says “We’ll unlock your heart” and I’m almost certain it was foreshadowing later events

Look at the end of part 2. So that’s basically the end right, notice how she’s scared when she sees something in the back of that girl in a chair, I can’t wait for insidious 5 to come out

The voice didn't guide her downstairs, her father locked her down there after beating her

I really enjoyed the insidious series and I’m glad that it came full circle. The monsters could have a bit more... insidious or grotesque, but other than that the pace of storytelling and concluding the series as is was satisfying in today’s horror and slash repetitive bore fests and I’ve watch a lot horror movies in my time. This was solid.

What about the post credit part, on part 2 with the girl in the wheel chair and the little girl sees alise

Remember in the 2nd part after Elise died and helped Dalton's father in The further ....she said "I was going to the bright door when I heard you" Now in this 4th part which is before ...the demon keyface said "I want you to help me open all doors."....so 'what if' there is other doors than red doors ...and Elise think it's heaven but it's not maybe the bright light of the door keeps the demons or whateverelse from opening it up or something....🤔 Or maybe she is Going to re-born or some thing ...I just thought about it

I always come back to these explanation videos because I don't even remember watching these films, thank you for explaining what I totally forgot so I don't have to rewatch the entire film. Seriously.

I honestly think there going to make another one, because there really isn’t a complete circle since at the end of the 2nd one we still don’t know the demon that is in the darkness that Elise saw. This to me would more then likely be the next chapter in the series. Hopefully.

Ok ok hear me out I believe Elise caused Insidious chapter one because when she did open the door to see Dalton did you guys not pick up that she left the door open which is how the red devil gets out. I believe is was her fault that that all happened well that’s all I have to say hopefully you guys think that as well :)

All of the Insidious sequels had me literally at the edge of my seat. Very entertaining and direct (gets straight to the point).

They have to make another one, we need tucker and specs backstory, they are the unsung heros. I liked your idea about bringing the woman back to life.

@Foundflix I thought the Last Key was a decent movie, but I thought there was a lot of unanswered questions. For instance, we were treated to the back story of the black bride, but they just skip over a lot of other main demonic enemies. I liked the addition of Key Face, but he is almost just a faceless demon without a cause or reason for being in the Insidious universe. In Insidious 3 we knew who the Demon with the oxygen was, who just ended up being a former resident of the apartment the family lived in. With Key Face there is no background or mythology behind the creature, which is a shame, because I think he was one of the more interesting looking demons in the series. One theory I do have is that Key Face was a newly formed demon of the man in the electric chair Alice was drawing at the very beginning of the film. He just died at that very moment, and it seemed that Alice was already connected to him, because she explained in very high detail about the man before he died (i.e. what he had for his last dinner etc.), and just happened to meet Key Face that very night. Plus it would make sense that it could be that person since he died in a prison and his further lair was a prison. Ultimately, I think the Last Key was okay, not great but not awful either.

Fun fact: Teenage Elise is played by Hannah Hayes, who also played Sarah in The Last of Us

A glaring point he left out. Elise opened 2 red doors when trying to escape at the end. The Original she opened and the one with The Lamberts. She caused the red devil to go after Dalton by leaving that door open. So she herself orchestrated the first 2 films and her own death

Bring back the red devil as the main villain

I always enjoyed watching these movies. I hope another insidious chapter comes out.

Clifhanger of part 3 it's pretty much completed in The Last Key, Elise didn't see red face, but he's there because Elise feels the power of that demon which leads her to see the child of part 1 in The Last Key so the moviee end when the first Insidious starts, full circle. Now about what she saw at the end of part 2, now that's a mystery.

This is the only Insidious movie I've seen and I loved it. Never thought I would. The story was meaningful and made sense. Maybe I'll seek out the rest of the series now.

I wouldn't say I HATE this movie. But I was very very very disappointed. I wanted some answers. I got none. I wanted some truths. I got nothing. The plot was weak. It filt like a filler piece. And they seriously need to get James Wan back into the director's seat, because everything that I LOVED about the first two movies, is sorely lacking in the last two. They've become so generic and unoriginal.

i loved watching this movie. every twist and turn (because me and my friends love to watch these movies and figure out the endings ourselves) was such a thrill and an enjoyment to watch, thank you for making this ending explained!

2:10 I’ve seen this movie before and thought that the scene when her eyes turn white did not look real at all. It was just a girl trying to roll up her eyes to try and make it look scary. That was the only scene I thought seemed really corny tbh. The rest was great!

@Foundflix Did you notice that Elise never shut the red door after she accidentally walked in to Daltons room? My take from that scene is that because she didnt close that door, she herself put the first movie in motion by letting keyface or other demons able to enter Daltons house. Had she closed that door and locked it after walking through it, she could've avoided the Dalton case and thus not having to get killed by the Black Bride!

Personally, I wish Elise would be added in Dead by Daylight just like Tapp from Saw.

What I think should happen if Leigh whannell or James Wan decide to make another chapter. Is to show a big connection after chapter 2 ending and that chapter is not just Elise helping people. Let us find out more about Elise we have her background story and we know her from the other chapters but let's learn about what she did in the time period where she escapes her house. we already know Elise past and child hood home and things she has been through. The next Chapter should be about something big that can set more chapter's up. Or have another case with the Lambert's because maybe Kelly the baby has the same ability to astral project and everything starts to happen again with new spirits and demons and we get the old insidious back that's what I think there's still lot to go with insidious we haven't gone to that point in the series were insidious is just trying to make new things up.

So idk what this is but it’s random and I wanna say it Sometimes I’ll fall asleep and have a dream to where I can’t speak. A fire will be in the garage and I’ll try to scream to my mother but I don’t make a noise. I wake up and talk to myself to make sure I can. This has happened a lot for the past few years. Insidious is such a cool, tightly packed horror series, it sucks that Elise got killed in the first one, because she is an absolut girl boss of a character. I really want to see is more of Tucker and Specs in their own spinoff series!

Watching this in 2023. There's a fifth Insidious movie coming out this May. It has Dalton going to college and it takes place 10 years after the first movie.

It's refreshing to see an older lady as the protagonist of a movie, let alone a horror movie.
