An insight into Goathland Signalbox with signalman Eoin Cuddy who is one of the youngest Signalman to work on our Heritage Railways...qualifying when he was still a teenager.
This small video shows Eoin collecting the token from the Fireman Dale on the incoming train 5428 Eric Treacy and then moving points ready for the departure.
it also shows how the token is collected out of the handling loop and fed into the communication system.

Nice one Jen showing the signal man at work, there is a lot more to it than just the signals as we can see. It's great to see Eric in steam as well. Your full size layout is coming on a treat even down to the seasons foliage. Thanks for sharing.
