Thank you so much for this! I just purchased this fridge and it was making a loud buzzing noise and I couldn’t figure out why. I opened up the fan like you did and the fan was out of the housing, just hanging there. Now it’s nice and silent! Simple fix, thank you!
I got the same model. My fan wasn’t running and I did your hack. Now it’s spinning. Only thing is, my Sprite cans are frozen but my 7-Ups are boiling like soup. Any ideas?
Is there high humidity inside the fridge when closed for long periods of time? I am looking too find a fridge that keeps little to no condensation on the inside.
It seems to be holding between 27% and 30% humidity with the temperature set to 38F. The temperature as reported by my thermometer reads 44F after sitting all night with the door closed. That might be as cold as this unit gets!
So I purchased this for myself and immediately noticed that the doors insulation stripping does not suction very well on my unit. Some portions of the door are not 100% tight. Does your unit have these problems?
