Insomniac thank you. I was (and kind of still am) thinking of sending a fan letter about why I love your games because they are what I love most in games, what I think the best kind of games do…leave you with an experience. That is something very FEW developers do. Thank you for taking good care of your employees!!!!! This video said a lot about what I would want to thank you guys for. Thank you for being the brilliant artist’s that you all are. they say an artist leaves an imprint of themselves when creating something and considering how long you guys have been painting, we have a pretty good idea on how damn lovable each of you are. We can’t thank you enough. I can’t thank you enough.

20th Anniversary of Ratchet & Clank!!!

Insomniac are one of the greats. Every game they release is incredible and nobody has anything bad to say about the workplace. They care about quality in every facet, whether it's the game itself, the place it was made, or the community it spawns. This is definitely one of the first studios I'll apply to if I can't get funding for my own games. I don't care if I'm a shill, there's just nothing bad to say about this place and it's the pride of the industry.

Insomniac Games has been my favorite game studio for the past 20 years. It's their combination of culture and excellent games that inspires me. While I don't endorse every cultural decision they've made, I can appreciate their pursuit of a workplace that considers and accommodates various world views. It's my dream to one day work for Insomniac. Please keep striving do provide the best possible experiences for your Team and audience.

I may have missed Disruptor in 1996, but have been a huge fan of the company’s works ever since Spyro the Dragon as a kid. Now nearly 30 years later with the releases of Ratchet & Clank, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive, Spider-Man, and plenty of others (as well as some scrapped ideas, like Girl with a Stick), it’s great to see everything’s still going strong. Keep it going.

My favorite studio that made my favorite games ❤ You guys made my childhood and I will never forget the memories of playing Spyro back in the late 90s! Spyro got me hardcore into gaming followed by R&C! So I wanna send a huge shoutout of appreciation and gratitude to IG and Ted Price for never letting us down and always taking it to the next level and surprising us countless times with what you're able to do with every piece of hardware you worked on! Ted is a legend, a 🐐 in my eyes!! Some of the most genius super talented engineers in the industry that whatever you guys touch turns to platinum! I am still shocked how you managed to pull off one crazy open world game with so much detail and poly count and special effects, arguably one of the best looking games of this generation (Spider-Man/Miles) while also keeping it at a locked 60 fps on the PS5! And let's not even go over the R&C: Rift Apart wizardry, that game needs no intro 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. What kind of black magic are you guys brewing in that studio? Super excited to see Wolverine and SM2 and whatever game you're working on next!! Cheers 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

I've just randomly remembered how cool the Ratchet and Clank series was and googled Insomniac Games :D I used to watch a lot of concept art from that game, especially character drawings. For me, it was just such a dope art style, totally different from what I've seen before.

Marvel's Spider-Man is truly what made me fall in love with that character. I went back and played a lot of the Rachet and Clank games, and they are amazing. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for showing me why I'm a Spider-Man. You're definitely my favorite developer

Thanks so much for this extremely passionate message, Insomniac Games! This message REALLY touched me more than you know, and I will GLADLY explain why! Just earlier this year (around early January), I FINALLY whole-heartedly accepted that I just CANNOT live without my UNDYING passion for video games. For YEARS, I've also had an admittedly RIDICULOUS mindset that I would NEVER be able to have ANY amount of FUN with ANY kind of work I dedicate my life to... which (in the last 5 years since I've graduated high school) has lead my life down a MUCH DARKER ROAD of me endlessly studying things that I AM more than capable of doing, but just DO NOT have the heart inside of me to continue doing with ANY level of passion or pride. However... all these years later (again, starting around early January of this year)..................................... I finally decided that I want to at least TRY to start finding the fun that I COULD be having at work, mainly in the form of my own potential career in video game development and design! Based on my own life experience, I've ALREADY learned the hard way (in art, computer media, and computer programming classes) that video game development in and of itself is NOT A GAME........... but as someone who's grown up loving art, playing video games, watching movies ALL THE TIME, and constantly pointing out all the ways in which I love entertainment (and/or how it can be improved)............... I think I'm finally ready now to at least TRY converting this high level of passion I have for entertainment into something I'm ACTUALLY PASSIONATE about! I'm currently a construction technology student in my final year of college, but once I'm finally done my construction program next year, I want to continue studying elsewhere.......... THIS TIME in a 3-year video game design program. Yes, I know that this is a VERY TALL desire for me to have at this point in my life... but it IS one that I am actively willing to TRY now after YEARS of FORCING myself to study and/or work with things that I just don't have the HEART to enjoy. My family is finally on board with this study change as well, and in order for me to start studying game development in September next year... then that only gives me until the summer of next year to prepare a decent game design portfolio to present to my desired college. Right now, my portfolio only consists of about a dozen 5-or-more-page documents containing written game ideas I have (for dream sequels to my favourite games), a few small pieces of artwork I've made with a drawing tablet, one animated 4-minute video that I produced on Adobe Animate and Premiere, and some 3D modelling of buildings that I've done on SketchUp in my construction classes. Insomniac............. if you can hear me... IS my current portfolio even a DECENT start for an aspiring game designer life me applying for a Game Development college program next year? Because I am still aiming to add more to my portfolio until I apply next year. And if I WERE to consider working with YOUR COMPANY about 5+ years into the future, what do YOU look for in potential game designing employees? Because I ALWAYS come up with small interesting game ideas with EVERY piece of entertainment I consume......................... but part of me DOES still understand that game development experience and prowess is JUST AS IMPORTANT as originality and creativity (if not more). Also, what do you think of my personal life experience leading up to my current goal to study Game Development and Design? Without context from my portfolio... do I sound even slightly ready to study game design (AND later become a bonafide developer some time in the future) based on my undying passion for games AND the things I've studied (Construction Technology, Business, Physics, Computer Programming, Math, Art, etc.)?

For me as a Marvel fan, I hope Insomniac Games keeps up the good work on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 & Marvel's Wolverine😉👍

Ratchet And Clank 20 anniversario ❣️

I'm making two comments on this video because I wanted to make a love letter to Insomniac. Ratchet and Clank was a series I was introduced to in I think around 2012 maybe 13 or 14. Around when Nexus came out. My first game was All4One and I remember spending hours upon hours of playing that TO DEATH with my brothers. Having the time of lives. We laughed, we cried and most especially yelled at each other but it was a simpler time. Being a kid of everyday life. Flash forward to 2020. I remember going through a rough period of my life in secondary school as I still had trouble adjusting to the new environment around me and the interpersonal drama within myself. I always felt troubled and my pride felt like it was shattering piece by piece. I never did harm others but there were times where I came close. I became explosive and self destructive. I had breakdowns in class if I felt a little uneasy and I was neglecting to learn from my teachers. Literally my first day of school I broke down because I was there an hour longer than I would be in Primary school. There were times where I felt welcomed in the school but those were short lived before I slipped back into another drought... but then Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart happened. Through all the sadness I was feeling came a sense of joy. The feeling of being truly excited for a videogame, especially a new Ratchet and Clank game nonetheless, gave me reason to press on. I felt boundless happiness come from those trailers that I watched to death. Whenever I felt awful I would throw one on and continously inspect every aspect of each trailer. Being blown away by how jawdroping everything looked. And knowing this was from the same people who made Spider-man PS4 made me estatic! I only recently got a PS5 (FINALLY) and less than 3 weeks later I bought, played and finished the game. And I LOVED IT! ❤ I waited a year and half after it's release but it was worth it! Playing the game made me feel like a kid again. A kid who takes pride and love in cherishing and playing fun, top down, 3rd person, action adventure platformers... (gasp) who also take personally pleasure in kicking some robo-but. (See the reference I made?) Ratchet and Clank is a series I hold close to my heart. And will forever support in the coming future! 🙌 Insomniac it's safe to say that you are my most favourite out of all game companies out there. Each game you put out is either something new and/or exciting. Congratulations on your many successes. And thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for wonderful and outstanding memories that I carry with me. 🛠💛🤍 (You see the wrench and hammer are supposed to be Ratchet and Rivet's weapons and the hearts are the same colour as their fur and uhhh... yeah you probably already get the idea😅)

I've been an insomniac fan since the original spyro. It was my favorite game as a kid

Ratchet and clank was the very first game and the thing that made me fall in love with video games in the first place. And seeing that you have healthy and productive stuff with how you treat your employees and your community just makes me fall in love with you even more!

I've been a huge fan since the first Ratchet on PS2 and played them all except for Rift Apart. (I unfortunately couldn't get my hands on a PS5 yet. I've seen a lot of gameplay though.) Absolutely loved the Spyro games and Sunset Overdrive was one of the main reasons I've wanted an Xbox One back then. Also when I got my PS4, my mind was blown by the visuals of Ratchet & Clank (2016). You probably made the smoothest and prettiest games for both Xbox One and PS4. And now you continue this trend on PS5! It just keeps getting better. I've also recently started getting invested into the Marvel Universe and can't wait to play the Spider-Man games. I'll start as soon as I get a capable PC or PS5! Your work is incredible and Insomniac is one of my favourite Studios of all time. Keep up the good stuff and especially the good energy!

I used to be a guy who believe that game nowadays have lost its "magic" that they used to have back then. The pure joy and immersion that I had that day, still linger in me, even though I don't have a privilege of having my own playstation or computer game, need to go to a friend house to play one or shop where they offer some playtime in exchange for certain money. But now is difference, I manage to get a computer, decent enough to run triple A games, and performance wise is good, way much better than those console I dream so much to own that day. But unfortunately, that experience I had back then are hardly achievable again.. I believed that it was a nostalgia filter that kicks in or now I'm just too old to play video game. Well turns out, its neither. Last month I got my copy of The Spiderman. It changes everything! I was so happy. I manage to get back that feeling again. That great feeling of finally owning a really cool game to play. Spent so much time swinging around the city. Enjoying every scenery it offers. Taking a lot of screenshot whenever cool composition arise... I'm not a video game expert and I have heard some nasty news about the typical environment in this industry, but I hope whatever you guys doing there, keep it healthy, keep it inspiring, because believe me, I may be a voice of minority, but I do believe there are thousand out there that feel the same as I did. That your works are meaningful to us all. To all generation that come next and to old one that miss that good old days. Thanks.
