Insomniac can’t write the next Spider-Man trilogy because they’re a video game studio that makes video games. A WRITER is someone who can write a book a movie etc, so it makes sense if it was a WRITER who would write the next Spider-Man trilogy.
Wait he's sticking around for another trilogy? I thought he was done I remember him saying he didn't want to do it anymore so he could do different films. Disney doesn't have any spider man movie lined up for phase 5.
The writing for marvel spiderman 2 was atrocious no thanks . And the writers for insomniac should never touch anything venom related again that was horrible. Harry as Venom was not only stupid but the story behind it was a mess and rushed. They clearly didn't care enough about the character or else they would have done him right and used Eddie . Wait, you’re actually serious? Bro, Insomniac should never write another Spider-Man game in their life. They completely politicized Spider-Man 2, made Peter into a complete bitch even when he was in the right, and tried to replace him with Miles Morales. They don’t know Spider-Man or any of the characters they are writing it’s just a bunch of self-insert fan-fiction, political peddling, trash.
They didn't make Peter into a bitch, they just made him as self conscious as he always is, he doubts himself and that has always been a big flaw of his character (and characters should have flaws). That was in the first game too, when MJ was clearly wrong and telling him that he was treating her poorly for saving her from an armed base of trained men, Peter still felt bad and wrong for doing it even though he did absolutely nothing wrong. They also did not try to replace him with Miles, he's just taking a break because he's been doing it without breaks for 8 years and he's tired. He is 100% coming back for Spider-Man 3, no doubt. They also didn't politicize much, I'd say the most political thing they did was probably lower interaction with cops, and that doesn't ruin the game or anything. If you consider there being 2 gay people in the game as woke, or there being a deaf person as woke, I think that's probably your problem. Learn to enjoy stuff for a day in your life, it doesn't matter that the overly political group of people who can't enjoy a game are telling you to hate the game. Sure, I know for a fact they wanted to include more leftist viewpoints of the world into the game, but it doesn't ruin the game, and it's dishonest to say it does.
They disrespected venom too the only good things about Venom were the voice actor and how he looked . This whole we're going to heal the world thing was trash and don't get my started on them going with Harry over Eddie that was idiotic and extremely lazy.
