U do know that the voice actor for Miles Morales confirmed that there will be symbiotes everywhere just like in web of shadows so maybe Yuri Spider-Man will have the chance to prove himself
WOS Spidey fought for 4 straight days while fighting all his normal villains, then some symbiote version of them, fought multiple crime syndicates, ripped wolverine in half(bad ending) and was generally the most powerful version of spiderman who isn't a cosmic being.

It isn't bcuz he has a whole game and dlc to go off of so just off that we could possibly say that the symbiote might make him 2-5x more powerful than he already is. Also with Miles' feat of absorbing enough energy to destroy all of Harlem and tanking a blast that could've destroyed it while thousands of feet in air we could say he might be on par if not better than WOS Symbiote Peter once the game releases.

Insomniac Peter had never touched the symbiote before Spider-Man 2. Web of Shadows Peter on the other hand had, he literally references Battleworld in the game lol. That's why he has so much control over the symbiote suit and can choose whether to use it or not.

Insomniac’s symbiote suit is the best representation I’ve seen in a long time! I just love how it looks gooey which was how it was represented in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. It just hasn’t had that same feel until now. Even the Venom movies made the symbiote look like black water instead of goo.

I've seen the symbiote suit's gameplay in the insomniac game and I know one thing for sure: It has nothing on good old WOS. In web of shadows the symbiote suit literally grants Spider-Man Hulk like powers, dude can lift up cars and throw them at far distances, use his tentacles to cause mayhem around him and has some powerful moveset such as his ground slams; i could go on but I'm sure I've said enough. So yeah WOS definitely gets the big W!
iirc web of shadows is kinda implied to have gone through the same events as 616, referencing battle world. & other comic events etc. so i'd say experience goes to him

Wos low diff in the trailer insomniac Spider-Man just got suit while wos had it before the game’s events in addition to that wos spider man defeated, wolverine, electro, and black cat all in their symbioti variations while being awake for three days straight, and after that defeats three headed venom that has size of a building all by himself.

Major Spoilers For Marvel's Spiderman 1 Imsomniac Spiderman was able to defeat the whole sinister six without any symbiote, with fourteen broken bones, while having to pull his punches not to fatally injure any of his villains. He was also dosed with a very high amount of Vultures poison not to mention. Throughout the game, insomniac Spiderman was able to stop 3 whole crime syndicates (demons, kingpin, sinister six), in a single month. He could of easily passed through the events of the main story in about a week or so if there was more evidence for Martin Li being the genius behind the demons, or the fact that the other main quarrels of the story unfolded way deeper into it. His spidey sense can also be scaled to 351 mach since he canonically dodges lighting during his fight with electro. His endurance feats are crazy, even besides his fight with the sinister six while sustaining his injuries; He managed to stand up properly right after being stabbed by Doc Ock's tentacle arm.He manages to hold up a semi truck for a prolonged time (see "Wheels Within Wheels") without any sign of shaking or struggling. An empty Semi weighs ~35,000 Lbs. Considering his immense lifting strength (and lifting strength and tension capabilities being genuinely relative), he could probably recreate Wos Spiderman's feat of tearing Wolverine in half. Insomniac Spiderman is consistently shown to stop active engines during the Carjack/Chase Crimes, and is even shown the capability of pulling and generating momentum in Inactive subway trains. From what i've derived from his countless feats in Marvel Spiderman 1, he outperforms WOS Spiderman in strength endurance, lifting strength, AP (hypothetical based on other relative stats in which hes shown feats), and overall strength, although his true strength is not demonstrated due to him pulling his punches. I'd like to see WOS Spiderman feats exceeding what Insomniac can do.
How tf does Insomniac get Experience? It's clear he's never used the symbiote before, meanwhile in WoS they literally talk about Battleworld and how Peter had the symbiote before the events of WoS, which is why he's so adept at using it and can choose whether to use it or not.

Wos Spiderman is literally based on comics due to the multiple references in the comics and if you pay attention to the history of the game it definitely is, because this Spiderman has more experience, knowing all the Avengers, Fantastic Four, etc. . More than this spiderman is based on the comic "the other" (the most powerful version of 616, and civil war), in addition to the fact that this version of spiderman is very resistant to vibrations, an extremely powerful vibration would be needed since it is needed of a villain to build something that stops the symbiotes since a common vibration costs them, more than this version defeated Megavenom, among other things.

I've played all of Web of Shadows and I admit that that Spider-man is no joke. He's very fast, agile, can knock down Vulture and Red Goblin goons with ease. He's fought several symbiote-infused villains, nearly beat Electro to death to force a symbiote off of him. Held his own against Venom multiple times, and yes, even tore Wolverine in half in one scenario. It's also worth noting that his abilities and strengths kept evolving as the game progressed. By the final battle with Venom, he had way more power than the start. However, I'm willing to wait until Spider-man 2 releases to see what this new Symbiote Spider-man can do. Although the gameplay and trailer are short, they do have some important moments showing what he might be capable of. His punches are clearly stronger as you can feel the impact with each blow he lands. He busted up a metal attack dog with one hit and tore through the fish market to reach Miles. The tendrils even parried attacks by the hunters, and could bring four of them down at once. The trailer even showed him grabbing multiple enemies at once. And if this symbiote will be growing as the story progresses, then it could bring more power that could overwhelm Wos Spidey. But we'll have to wait and see before jumping the gun on this. I want to see everything that this new symbiote can bring before comparing them.
Now that I've beaten the game, and seen the symbiote's power firsthand, I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but Web of Shadows doesn't come close to this monster. In the symbiote's first appearance, it tore through an army of hunters and brutes with the power of the Symbiote Surge. Harry was even beating Kraven with it before it chose Spider-man. It could grab up to eight enemies at a time, perform a tendril explosion that packed more power than WOS tendril moves. Spidey could even travel with a mess of tendrils and attack anyone in sight with it. It doesn't make Peter cocky, instead he became more focused and serious as the game progressed. The symbiote did evolve after coming in contact with the meteorite, and Spider-man almost became feral a few times, instead of being full of himself like Web of Shadows. If they were to fight, Web of Shadows Spidey would have a hard time contending with this beast. They're both near equal in speed and agility. In terms of strength, the Wolverine being torn in half feat isn't so impressive anymore. Insomniac Spider-man could hold his own against highly skilled hunters, cultists, a bigger and stronger version of the Lizard that tore through most of New York, and won against Kraven the hunter, even when he had the symbiote's worst weakness in play. The same Kraven who killed most of the Sinister Six by himself, and held his own against Venom. Plus, the Symbiote Surge could tear through Web of Shadows pretty easily. In terms of experience, Insomniac's Spider-man has had years dealing with his super villains, and fought many of them together, while Web of Shadows fought only one villain accompanied by symbiotes. Durability wise, Insomniac's symbiote could take attacks from Lizard and Kraven, who are way bigger and stronger than symbiote Wolverine. Their arsenals are pretty close, so it would essentially be a tie. Combat wise, it's pretty clear. The Symbiote Surge allowed Spider-man to tear right through hunters, brutes, bosses and brought down Lizard and Kraven. Web of Shadows doesn't have anything that could amp up his abilities and strength to that degree. But the biggest advantages the Symbiote has in Spider-man 2 are it's lack of one weakness, and that it could fight without wearing Peter down. Without a weakness to fire, Insomniac's Symbiote could exploit that weakness against WOS Spider-man. He could bring flames into the fight and potentially burn the Symbiote right off WOS body. Though even if WOS could beat him down or knock Peter out, that Symbiote could fight independently and with far less restraint. The Symbiote on it's own, beat the hunters into the ground, and tore through a subway tunnel fueled by pure rage. WOS would absolutely get destroyed if he had to face a Symbiote that could use all of Spider-man's powers, and had nothing holding him back. So in all, Insomniac's Symbiote would annihilate Web of Shadows.
Give the experience to the WOS spiderman please. It ain't his first time having the symbiote since he just "accepted" it ended fighting venom. Plus his personality changed immediately. But let's not forget he's in total control over the symbiote!
