The Nissan Gloria/Cima/Leopard (y33) is a great vip cruiser. I’ve been wanting one for a few years now…

i looked these up. they are decently priced imported for like 5-8k which is really cool. they have a really unique look to them. seems like a fun build i cant wait to see it

Hey Mike, I believe your shifter in the Gloria is supposed to be like my 240 and the red trigger is in case the car won't start

This Gloria is so beautiful when its setup be that way (the BBS looking wheels, the stance, etc. + it needs to be rebuild/repair tita damages & other miscellaneous). I’m looking forward for this build, especially to the Z32 300zx.

That little button underneath the steering wheel that looks to have a margharita glass on it it for the antenna, to put it half or fully up, my r33 4 door has the same button logo

Hey mike just a heads up , that On/off button you flipped in the glove box is to lock the boot , a lot of cars had them in Japan to stop theft however wasn’t always used for that reason ... another car that comes with it and a lot of people dunno is the infinity g35

You need to talk to Sammit in Japan I bet he can find parts for you and work out some type of shipping. Hell yeah 👍

The switch in the glovebox is a Valet mode. My Infiniti M30 vert has that. Basically when the switch is flipped the glovebox and trunk can only be opened by master key. Otherwise the trunk switch won’t work. Also the shift lock seems to be messed up you’re not supposed to have to press the red thing on the shifter to shift it you should just be able to press the brake squeeze the button on the side and move it. That red thing on it is in case the car has no power you can press that down to release the shifter if you had to move it or something. Hope you find that information helpful. Y32 Gloria is my dream daily love to see it!

I just picked up a 91' Y32 Gloria and I absolutely love it! I didnt realize these came single cam? mine is a quad cam vg30det. looks like your also missing the Rare OEM rain gaurds

Congrats Mike! I've actually have had the privilege to drive a Gloria that was manual swapped! It was so neat being able to drive a luxury car that had been converted to a manual. You will for sure love this car. Soon you're gonna need a place to keep all these things!

I would bet the designer of the Gloria either worked for BMW or was inspired by the E32 1988-1993 7-Series. The overall shape is similar to it, mostly the front headlights.

Ahh the VG30. You can swap any z31 performance part, another big mod the ol Zs used was the Pathfinder 3.3 intake. Long runners big torque

I really like the Gloria, I only saw a car like this once and then never again. They are very interesting cars and I love how unmolested this thing is, someone definitely cared about it. Its probably a better idea to try and repair anything that is physically possible to repair no matter the damage because finding parts for this outside of Japan is gonna be a nightmare.

You can probably repair the right quarter on your car. when the damage gets pulled out before you replace the parts the damage on that quarter will want to relax and go back to shape. I know you have the skills for it!

The front lamp looks like a BMW 525 E34. Beautiful car.

The front end looks like an E34 5-series sedan with a mercedes w140 rear end. But still liking the way this car looks!

That switch on the leftside under the steering wheel maybe for windscreen squirter's (whatever they call em lol) , demister or possibly fog lights, dont really know but the logo ive seen on plenty of vehicles around the dash, may need to do abit of research, look forward to this build

Push the button in on the shifter and it will select gear. You don’t need to push the red button in as well as that is if you don’t have your keys you can push that red button and select the gear

Hey man, just saying that you shouldnt have to press the red button down to put it into gear. Thats for if the car is dead or off and you need to put it into gear. Definitely something wring with the switch under the brake or in the shifter that unlocks the button

Now you need one of those JDM VIP front tray tables to act as a cup holder in this Gloria

I'm surprised to see this y32 again... When i got my y33 I been looking around for info on glorias/cedrics and saw this car on youtube I reached out to the previous owner and it turns out he just got this y32 at that time and we used to chat about things we could do with these cars, interchangeable parts and etc... I was in shock when he posted the video the time a lady rear ended him, it was fucked up he took a big loss but later on he ended up getting another cedric and I've always wondered what happened to this car, it's nice to see it being given a 2nd chance in life.

Keen for this as a new series/ addition to the channel

The yellow s14 is so sick love seeing the before and after paint also for the Z I’d recommend an oem wing to cover the 3rd brake light if you can’t find a 3rd brake light replacement and I’m loving the Gloria content I know it’s gonna be tough but I’m sure you’ll find a way to get the parts you need 💪🏻

You shouldn’t need to use that red tab on the shifter if the ignition is on and brake pedal pressed. There must be a broken switch in either of those locations. My JDM 300zx tt is the same. That red tab is for shifting out of park without the key.

Wondered where this one went off too - didnt see him parting it out so figured it got sold... If you are having to push the "Red" button to shift from park - you have something wrong because that's the emergency release - something might of happened from the crash to cause that

Strange that it has SOHC VG when my old boss' 88 Y31 had the DOHC VG30DET in it.

My 2003 G35 has one of those clocks on the dash and I always feel classy as fuck using it lmao. Remember pinky's up when you drink something in that classy car

Alot of my 240sx cars had that same il shifter red push down crap.

Video was quieter then normal , but epic content like always 🤘 I feel this car needs a supercharger or procharger 🤔 the ashtrays in the back like my hornet 👌 nicer then modern cars for sure. Kinda has that volvo look with a vw jetta body and bmw styling. Don't think that red button has to be pressed, I've seen it in other cars where it locks the gearbox when there's a problem and that is an emergency release. I think it was my volvo 850 that I recall or the 94 mazda 323 and I know my mothers 2012 fiat 500 has a hidden one like that. Rather sure its a standard now for automatics? Drift stitches are for people that crash 😎 A good body guy could hammer and dolly that quarter. Drill it out and take it to a place if you don't feel comfortable doing it. Keep using the safety glasses, I just had rust and metal DRILLED out of my eye.
