@@Cameraflyer- True, but cops don’t have to wait to be attacked to be justified in taking physical action to defend themselves, others or make an arrest. But police have been neutered over the last half decade, a contributing factor of the rise in crime.
@@Incognito-vc9wj he wasn't driving & he never laid a hand on a cop. Would have been tough to arrest him honestly. Possibly for causing a disturbance when he yelled a little. But this was coming. This guy's life was falling apart big time. He was on drugs/drinking/upset/& had tons of firearms.
I think it's shortsighted to say the officers lack of professionalism didn't contribute to any sort of escalation of the situation that produced such a tragic outcome.
@@fakereality96 if the guys life wasn't completely falling apart then maybe..... but this was coming at some point no matter what. His life was in shambles/was drunk/on drugd/& tons of firearms. The only thing u could blame the police for is not arresting his brother for driving drunk. But that probably would have made him even more upset & do the same thing 🤷🏼♂️
The officers who were involved in the initial traffic stop were complicit in this tragedy. They started to taunt and insult the two brothers and in my opinion pushed him over the edge
The guys are both drunken dumbasses. Especially being that he was full rtard from the get, he was immediately belligerent and constantly bipolar in his actions. The first cops were definitely dumbasses too though, but thats a completely different issue in its own. I think they should be fired forsure being that after they chased a suspect who fled from a drunken fight while clearly driving under the influence. How was there not 1 DUI. These cops need to be investigated
@@Buttfinckle nothing justified this it could of been avoidable in my opinion. If the initial officers were more professional and handled it better. I think a different outcome would of happened. Those officers antagonized a drunken individual who used drugs and has mental health issues and think they added fuel to that fire
@@RC02216 eh it happens a lot. Esp in small towns. The pushing part was a tad over the top though. I'm sure that short officer feels HORRIBLE..... but this was coming no matter what. His life was in ruin/was drunk/on drugs/& had tons of firearms.....
He had no License to drive. Plus it sounded like Nathan was drunk too. Should have gotten a DUI or at least tested for it. Nick was verbally abusive to those Officers but each only got tickets for Disturbing the Peace & Being Drunk in public. The truck did get towed & had a 48 hour hold on it.
@@foxsmith5718 lol yeah the him being divorced/in debt/life in shambles/drunk/& on 2 or 3 different drugs plus access to tons of firearms had NOTHING to do with it right 🤦🏼♂️ This was coming with this guy ..... just a matter of time.
@ericmsandoval I do wonder if he was involved though. He had the officers come to the side door where his brother would be positioned behind the officers to ambush them.
Black people get handcuffed for just sitting on the porch. This guy threatened the cops and was still let go. What happened to I was afraid for my life?
People today are on edge, have to learn how to communicate and de-escalate the situation or at least letting the people cool down from the emotions before talking...gotta give people space
Officers were completely unprofessional antagonistic and escalated the tension between themselves and the suspect. Sometimes you can push a person too far and they respond. I might’ve been over the top, but he was standing on business and he felt he needed to do and Bristol Police Department paid. Maybe they’ll train their officers better and teach him how to de-escalate an act in courteous and professional manner.
