Watch the entire interaction where five cops accosted him and his brother and provoked them and towed their car for no reason and sort of antagonized this guy and tried to fight him. As far as im concerned if they had left him alone theyd still be alive.

I want to know what happened at the bar before.they towed his vehicle and everything.they let him go.where is the info on that part of it.he was drunk and blacked out.he was a good person. Late reply but substance abuse can only tell part of the story. When it brings you to the point of ambushing and murdering 2 officers that were coming to try to help you, all arguments are forefit. Its a sad situation for everyone involved, including the shooters family. That does not justify or validate the events that happened that night. Period. These two officers were just doing their jobs, and trying to be of help, and they were gunned down while doing it. Rest in peace gentleman, and for what its worth, i hope the shooter's family can some day find peace too, because no one deserves to experience something like this.

In the vast majority of these cases involving both unarmed and armed shooters, the suspects are killed but no cops. At least here, it’s a more level playing field. The guy was going to be shot regardless, at least he took out some cops before he went.

@@forestgreene8687 Police already have the unfair advantage going into situations with civilians they want to detain. They have the weaponry on their side, the technology on their side, and the law on their side; hence, why cops prevail 99% of the time. Damien Lewis shot in bed, for instance, along George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, along with several others, are examples where the victims had virtually no chance to defend themselves. Cops aren't looking for a fair fight. If someone doesn't listen they can taser them, but it's a crime to taser the cop, let alone taser him in retaliation. The only way to even stand a chance is to ambush them from behind.

i went to the police academy with one of those cops who died, we were in together for about a month. I recognized his face, wasn’t a friend but had some conversations. One of my favorite people I’ve talked to.

Especially knowing they murdered police officers you would think their photos and identity would be plastered all over the news and media but that's not the case. It's almost as if they are trying to protect them in a way. @Chad H yeah because the cities that have implemented social workers that were responding solo to mental illness and suicidal calls was working so well (quite a few have been killed) too the point that they now have to have the police respond with them to keep them safe. Completely back tracking where it was suppose to allow police to handle more violent and serious crime; so no social workers are effective in the same confrontations that officers handled just fine that don’t make the news (which is millions a year)

I would say Connecticut has way more than just two black eyes. I guess you haven't seen the abuses that Connecticut Law Enforcement of perpetrated on many individuals. There was a recent encounter with the suspect who was under arrest and in the back of a Paddy Wagon in handcuffs without a seatbelt on who fell and broke his spine and who the police didn't believe was injured and proceeded to injure more. He just received a hundred million of Connecticut taxpayer money, and not a single officer even missed a day of work. Just things to consider.

The fact that people are hating on young men who lost their lives doing a job to protect us is scary. These are not human beings, they are subhuman garbage, I believe they are just smart enough to know that. We need to protect ourselves from these dangerous street animals. @Chad H It snowed 8 inches in wildomar California years back. Clinton Keith road had cars stuck all over the place for miles to the freeway. AAA and 911 couldn't respond yet the swat team has tanks. I cleared the road that night and never charged a dime. Not one person would hook my rope to their car to save their life for liability reasons.
