Some vaporizers burn the product albeit way more efficiently than a pipe, hukka, or bong, but burning it nonetheless even though they're called a "Vaporizer". But a real vaporizer will heat up the product to where the oils are vaporized, but heat will never burn any part of it. Like putting the product in a container and then putting the container on a hot plate and heating the product THROUGH a container, but the heating element NEVER comes in contact with the product. Of course, actual vaporizers cost a bit more which is why most vaporizers just piggyback on the name. I'm going to act as if you didn't know that already.
