Inspiral Carpets ft Mark E Smith - I Want You (TOTP) 

One of the more memorable, not to say unusual, TOTP performances. By all accounts, Mark E Smith spent much of the day insulting the other acts on the show, especially Elvis Costello.

Love the way Mark stands around like he could take it or leave it, and the bit where he checks the piece of paper in his pocket. Oh yes, this is what pop music is all about.

Wow the Top of the Pops crowd and the viewers experiencing a live art performance, we were so spoiled in the 90's

I've never seen The Fall be crap live, but I am very lucky, MES gets "Show" at the end spot on though! Inspirals kill it as always. So underrated.
