When that happened I cried myself b later she won the national championship game and I realized that how we lost that game, no matter how much that hurt was good for her because she knows what losing feels like. I agree with Dawn about those pictures of Boston crying, one losing and one where she won, it changed her to become the college player of the year and how she plays now. Dawn did the same with Cordoso so here is a warning to the NCAA ladies tournament teams, Boston will never want to feel that feeling of losing the championship ever again,

That was a John Cheyney lesson. Great to see the Philly tradition of winning continue!

Coach Staley did the same thing with Raven Johnson. After the wave off from cc in 2023, a meme of Raven also went viral. Coach Staley worked with Raven and gave her the defensive assignment of guarding clark after the 1st quarter in the ‘24 championship game. While guarding her, Raven held cc to 7 points and completely frustrated her. Raven completed her “revenge tour” and lead the Gamecocks to an undefeated season and the 2024 NCAA national championship.

Before that happened I had a love hate relationships with all sports. Love my team hate their opponents. When Belibi and Jones hugged Aliyah the instantly became my favorite players behind the gamecocks, and then I just started respecting and loving everybody and just that aspect of the women's game turned this into my favorite sport. I almost got in to plenty of fights over football games and aggravated at the NBA, but women's ball I can respect all teams while rooting for my gamecocks. That's something special that wbb especially college has that men basketball or football can't touch. I hope the sports commentators realize that and stop trying to copy what the men do because they're long gone and think sports is about talking shit all day and taking personal shots and people they don't know personally.
