I used instagram before it was a social media platform and the entire point of it was photography, an art form! Unfortunately people seem to expect reality to be like art

I am 36, thus I grew up with no smartphone but I'm not "I can't figure that stuff out" kind of old either, but whenever i'm living an experience I am enjoying, I just can't stop the flow to take pics, let alone think of sharing them on social media. I have insanely few pics of the best moments of my life, mostly taken by others. When I'm there I 'm just living the moment, be it a concert, a trip, a party or whatever. I even wish I had more and better pics of my kids when they were newborn or anyway smaller, not for sharing them, but for myself.
@@fam4449a waste of what? Going somewhere and only experiencing it through a phone screen so you can post the same picture as 10,000 other tourists for a few likes is a waste.
I'm the same way. I'll take some nature photos. A sunrise or sunset. Mostly when i'm camping I take more b4 and after pics for work. 80% of my camera roll is work. What's wild too is I bet most ppl take a photo and never view it again
Don't most of us know, or have at least one friend like that lol. Visited a Zoo at the Canary Islands once.My friend & I passed two huge turtles, size XXXL making out..🍃🐢💚🐢The male was really into the "job"looking determined whilst the female turtle seemed to be chilling & eating lots of grass. An hour later or so,on our way out,we passed the "maybe baby makers",& it reminded me of some sort of familiar sight...Man still working on his woman, from behind,a lady who seemed to be fine acting like a female grass cutter, enjoying the sunset & warm/frresh water & evening air.Still kind of wonder if she was aware of this extra "backpack",if she was enjoying, her man sermed to be having the time of his life at the end of the day anyw.though lol.
I learned from a travel agency that if you want the best experiences to show up UBER early in the morning to where you want to capture, like 4-5am at the crack of sunrise... everyone goes to all the hot spots around 8-9am thinking they're early... and then it's flooded with everyone else who came late haha
