Me too. I love my Go 2. I'm not sure I'm going to get the 3. I tend to use my Go as a quick pocketable cam that I always have on me. My use for my Insta360 One RS is usually used for planned shots. But with all the attachments, I don't always carry it with me. That's my personal use though. I know it's different for everyone. I think the new design is great! (i kinda wish I could buy JUST the pod - if the Go 2 fit into it. )
A few thoughts... 1. I'm surprised, and disappointed it doesn't have 4K in 2023. 2. Will they sell the 'Pod' separately? If so, will the Go 2 fit inside it with the same functionality? That would be great, and redeem my opinion on Insta360 design releases! Really nice physical innovations though! Sadly the optical quality seems...just ok. I've had the Go, and I have the Go 2, and I've had the Insta360 One X, and X2...I'm starting to sour on this, 'disposable' camera time period we're in. I know I don't 'have' to upgrade, but it's disappointing to know there's likely no more support for a camera that's only a year old, and that makes me want to consider Insta360 cameras in the future. It's like the craze of 'fast fashion'. Aside from that, always with the great, and thorough reviews, thank you! Every one of my photography youtubers will do the same releases when embargoes are done, but I always look forward to yours! Keep up the great work! 👍
@@dougscott188 We can squeeze a 4K chip into a tiny Osmo Pocket gimbal head. I'm sure they could if they wanted. It's likely economical. If they put a 4K sensor in there, it would be priced out of the market they're aiming for. It's already 4/500 bucks. If it went up another 100 or 200 bucks, you're getting into the low end good real cameras - as well as better quality action cameras, like GoPro, One RS, etc. They want to own the low end market, which is fine. It's a business decision. As I mentioned in another comment somewhere - I'm just a bit tired of investing into a system, but then the form factor and all accessories change in basically one calendar year, or so. It makes every iteration kind of...cheap. This Go 3 is great, but it would be nicer if it was backwards compatible with at least the Go 2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I notice these innovations in the last year or so, are mostly software, and non-camera optic related hardware. Basically, they change up the design a bit for some attention, but the camera quality, and abilities don't really change much.
Young this was good timing for me, my GoPro 10 just died, this looks great, you did a wonderful job of showing what it does plus you looked like a million dollars doing it 😘🌴
Awesome video as usual. Although should have updated the sensor and or res to 4k. The only real benefit is that it's a bit smaller but it's still kind of thick. Having 5.7k on things like the gopro is a lot more beneficial. That and only having a 128 as a max is no bueno seeing as they dont have an SD card. bah! =( Dress looks very nice as well. :) Thanks for all that you do! Hopefully the pocket 3 will come out waterproof, and with 1inch sensor!

I have a GO 3 and love it ...BUT... the wind noise drives me crazy. I noticed that you were using an external microphone with a dead cat. Can you tell us how you linked the audio? I haven't seen any way to connect an external mic directly to the GO 3.
This is a well-done Comprehensive review of the Go 3. Nice voice tone and clear. No fancy and weird jokes~. Nice editing. I still stumbled whether the 128GB is useful for an hour Video recording session or 64GB capacity is already sufficient for the purpose? I wanted to do video recording about that length at 2.7k res. I would scaled down the video res to get more vivid details in post-production. Thanks.
For such a tiny camera it packs such a punch. Also when people have a flogging camera it looks like the person is always looking off to the side but not with this camera. The stabilization is crazy good. Does the Insta360 have zoom?
