Happen to my x2 the wind blew and the tripod fell and worst is the premium lens guard I bought popped open and resulting in the lens getting scratch when it was a month old and got scratched and waited for lens stock for repair for 6 months and $200
@@jsyntaxmedia some mobile one can't remember the brand so I use it to support the x2 but the wind came strongly and it fell Now I bring a full sized carbon fiber tripod used for my camera if I need to mount it hahahah
Have you tried the 4K single lens mode on X3? I think the X3 is a great 2-in-1 action camera option that offers 360 angle perspective and a traditional action camera perspective. Also, the Insta360 APP is so so so much better than GoPro, allowing you to remote control, preview footage, edit and offer many templates & effects to make creative videos. I completely agree about the Insta360 app, I was thoroughly impressed! I've never experienced such a pleasant video editing experience on my phone before. I look forward to taking advantage of it while travelling.
I have the original DJI action. Great action camera, For me every bit as good as a gopro.and way cheaper. I intend to get an X3, having both will give you a huge number of shooting options.
Any consumer 360 camera should only be used when the ability to reframe later outweighs the inevitable quality loss resulting from 5.7K being thinly spread over the whole 360 degrees. It's a tool for a job. "Why a screwdriver will never replace a hammer"...
