I have X3 and it is very cool cam but person who wants to buy it should know that quality is much worst than GoPro. Comparing these two cams it's not good I think. One is 360 cam and this is main feature of it and second is standard cam with one direction but with better quality and not that easy to damage. Also good thing to know is that even if it is 360 you still have to change angles to capture good shots.
I have the go pro 12 and the Dyosmo 4, x3 and the s23 ultra My experience is that the Go pro12 makes great videos during the day with these somewhat exaggerated colors, which I don't think is a bad thing when it gets evening and in the dark it has a lot of noise in situations when there isn't enough lighting Stabilization is good, sound is good I never use the x3 in single mode because many older smartphones degrees are sharper and I can process them well with the app. In the dark I don't use it because the noise starts quickly. I don't use it on very gray days either the film material is mediocre When the sun shines she makes good films The lens is very sensitive, there is a slightly larger scratch and you can see it on the lens. It doesn't overheat as quickly as Osmo4 or GoPro12 when you walk on a warm day. It has good stabilization The Osmo 4 makes the most natural picture (if you like it) of all in the film sector and has good sound and stabilization If you run it on a warm day it will overheat after about 12 to 15 minutes The action cam 4 and 12 very rarely overheat, actually almost never on bicycles or motorcycles
This is a Insta360 fan-boy promotional commercial. I don't sense any balance in the comparison whatsoever. Watching this video for comparison purposes, thus, is a waste of time. A waste of my time. I don't need somebody raw-raw-rawing one brand or the other.
I have an x3 and 1 con is when x3 get damage or somehow you’ll have a problem. They’ll ask you a lot of questions etc,. I never got my x3 serviced. Sucks their main company is outside US so you’ll have to deal with that.
To be honest reviewer, I am not quite satisfied with the colour of Insta360 x3 after 3 months of uses experience. It has endless capabilities of shooting video but footage doesn't look eye pleasing and natural. I am thingking to purchase Gopro Hero 12 very soon.
im excited for x4. All the improvement it needs is gopro like quality. I have gp11 and x3, i enjoy x3 more and most of my usable footages are from x3. Gopro has better quality. But it is unreliable, it overheats fast, drains battery faster, and auto shut down from time to time even when youre recording so you have to redo everything from the start which i think a hassle. Using x3, i can enjoy my travels without posing too much, i just have to point the stick and post process after. My usable footages from x3 are from the unplanned ones and it captures unexpected moments. Downside is the vulnerable lens and requires too many sd cards. I hope there is a new gopro max this year, i think gp12 is not a reason to buy new camera for x3 is still doing better than it in all aspect except quality.
