Please explain Meg, I appreciate you! why would the number of impressions be lower than the number of people of viewers? if the number next tot he 3 blue bars at the top is 100, and the accounts reached is 98, what would that mean? if impressions are 105 ,does that mean that 5 people watched it more than once? next story is basically the worst sign? (meaning people want to watch stories but don't want to watch you?)
Hello Michael! The number of impressions is just how many times the Story was viewed. So just like you said, if the number next to the 3 blue bars at the top is 100 and the impressions are 105, it means that 5 people watched it more than once. Next story doesn't necessary mean the worst. Personally, I think Exited is the worst so if you have less of that, people are interested in what you post! Hope that all made sense!
@@growwithmeg But exited could just mean that they consumed enough stories for the day and are done with them. Next story means, I WANT MORE STORIES.. BUT I DON'T WANT YOURS. How can people go back to the beginning of a story? Anytime I tap "back" I go to the previous story. So does it count how many people went back to the story prior to the one you tapped on or to the beginning of thr story that they tapped on?
I don't get the "back" feauture. Let's say I post three stories, A, B and C. If story B gets 20 "backs" that means people have pressed left(back) from story C to view story B, or did they press left(back) on story B so they can view story A? If story B has got 20 "backs" is B the most interesting story or A? Thank you
"Forward" tends to mean that people are skipping your Story or they're just "speed" tapping. I won't say it's good if it's high but overall it probably will be the highest metric so don't overthink it. Much better than having a lot of "Next" or "Exit". Hope that helps!
Yeah I also wonder right now, can it be that it’s automatically refers to “forward”? Cuz all of this metrics icons can be considered “negative” - swipes and taps. While nothing for “while duration” technically
