I’m about to install one of two I ordered, didn’t know what one I wanted to use. They both are top of the line cans and beautiful! (Vibrant - $160.00) & (Nuke - $250.00) both very very nice and very very well built. I wish I could use them both!
Judge away, it's fine 😆. If I remember right, that was the suggested placement. I know there was some issues people were having with the hose hissing, sucking in air, if it was too far way. The can itself is not in the way. However, the hoses are in the way of the oil fill. But that's why the "ez clips" are essential. Ridiculously easy to unclip hoses and move away. As far as placement, you also have to consider ease of using drain valve.
