Thanks for posting this. My question is with this bar do you completely eliminate all the other (factory) speakers, ie the ones in the dash and the sub in the center console or are those still connected as well?
I purchased it at Crutchfield.com or you can also get it on amazon - www.amazon.com/Aftermarket-Double-Install-Wrangler-1997-2002/dp/B01BP68GBC/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2CSCJMCBLCTNF&dchild=1&keywords=jeep+cherokee+double+din+radio+install+kit+97-01&qid=1612575087&sprefix=97+jeep+double+din%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-5

@@FAFOWeekendAdventures thanks so much. Been on the hunt for a good cover for a while. They fit well? How do you like them. Installing sound bar as I text....
I just purchased this speaker bar not too long ago and was wondering if you could shed some light on exactly you connect everything in completely new at this wiring stuff. Thank you in advanced!
If your using the same radio your going to have to take it out, find the speaker wires and connect to them. If you watch the video there are wires that run on the drivers side floor board which go along side to the center bar, all jeeps have them, connect the other wire there.
@@jorgequimbaya2872 correct, but if you follow the video there is a wire I think it's yellow or green that runs along the driver's side you will also need to use
Hi! Is the sound bar wired to the right and left rear speaker wires from the head unit?? Is there a harness that connects these wires to the sound bar?? I have no experience and am trying to figure this out. I would really appreciate your input, thanks!!
Yes the speakers come with a harness that connects the right and left speakers to the head unit. It's an easy install the wires also come labeled. Any other questions just ask.
@@FAFOWeekendAdventures Thank you so much!! I haven't bought the sound bar yet, but I plan to in the next few weeks. Is it possible to connect the sound bar to the head unit, without removing the head unit?? Also, is there another wire for the light?? Where does that connect to in the car??
Of course, you can ask, the brand is: Vertically Driven Products 792501 Hi Fidelity 6 Speaker Overhead Soundbar in Textured Black for 87-02 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ And the link is below: www.quadratec.com/products/14118_000_07.htm
@@FAFOWeekendAdventures they aren’t that horrible but for the price they charged I wanted much louder I replaced all mine with alpine had to sand a hole to fit
@@mikemaybe5999 I tried to change the speakers also and noticed that the hole had to be widened so I left it alone, just going to buy a better bar down the road
