Do you have a list of the equipment you used? I'm looking to do the same project (minus the back up camera) but not sure what fits

It was pretty basic tools on this one. It was screw drivers and interior spoons. As far as the head unit and wiring kit I can't remember, but if you search your year make and model on Crutchfield website they will tell you what will fit exactly.

My experience installing stereos the a piller bad place for the mic if they have the window open while talking nobody will hear them just complaints I have gotten before but great work on getting stereo in

So far that hasn't been an issue. The mics are against the windshield so they sunvisor doesn't hit or block it when down.

@@CousinCleatus yeah I saw you put it against windows kinda recessed behind the a pillar will stop wind noise better I have had alot of people ask me to install it in the a pillar and have it stick out the a pillar that is closer to window cause noise and then they complain the audio quality sucks and I told them look I told you that was going to happen you told me to install it were you wanted it... where you put it bro was a way better location

I have cx9 2009 and I replaced the stock with a oem stock touch strewn navigation stereo but the Mac and media won’t work do to not having all the connections wat and where can I get the plugs from or would it be easier if I just bought a after market

I would personally go with aftermarket, most phones have a better GPS than any stock stereo.

Great video. I have the same vehicle and pretty much doing the same setup. The only difference is I noticed that your stereo has a 3.5mm jack for the swc connection. Instead of the 3.5mm plug, Im using the blueyellow wire and connecting it to the key1 wire. Unfortunately, its not working. How did you get to make your swc to work? Also, are you getting any static noise when you play music/audio from your phone via bluetooth? I have both my bluewhite amp turn on and bluewhite amp control wires connected to the red acc wires. How about yours?

What stereo are you using? And are you using the PAC brand connector?

The stereo is just a generic double din android. www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B08B8WTSWJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image . The harness is the PAC RP4-MZ11 Wiring Interface .

Double check if the radio has a mic jack in the back of it. Also if you are getting static noise you may either have alternator issues or maybe even the ignition and battery power wires backward or touching. Thanks. My steering wheel controls now work. Just had to set them up in the settings menu of the unit. As for the speaker noise, i ordered a noise filter from crutchfield. Just waiting for delivery and wel see how that goes.

Yes. If you go to Crutchfield website, you can find what will fit your specific vehicle. Even if you don't buy it there, you'll know what you need.

Do you have the Touring model? Does the Bose subwoofer work with the new stereo?

Yes, it works if you get the wiring harness for it. If you go to Crutchfield website, it will show you what is needed.

@@CousinCleatus Did you figure out what the 2nd connector was for (there were 2 in the factory stereo). And do you think it's possible to get the factory mic to work, the one that's near the sunroof controls?

Best thing to do is to go to Crutchfield website and enter your exact vehicle information. They will show you what will fit and what you need. You don't have to buy on their site, you can just get the info if you find it cheaper some where else. Please let me know if that helps, if not I can find what parts I used.
