Ok click control Alt F2 , then login after that type , sudo pacman -S sddm After that type sudo systemctl enable sddm.servece After that type sudo pacman -S --needed base-devel git And type git clone aur.archlinux.org/hyprland.git ~/hyprland And now type cd ~/hyprland And type makepkg -si Now reboot the system
Awesome tutorial! Love the way you explained it. The script ran very smoothly for me. The only thing is that typing in the terminal is very slow. I have enabled 3D and it’s still slow. I have the exactly same set up using qemu. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
I'm doing exactly the same process buy I have a problem with ' zsh-theme-powerlevel10k' always stop the process with an error :C idk why. It's the last thing that the '.install.sh' file needs
@@zlaer Retry the installation using paru not yay, later you'll be able to select different version for that, I chose one called same but finished with "-git". Worked for me
After logging into Hyperland, nothing happens. I enter the password (correctly), a black screen appears for a second, and the authorization window appears again
Maybe this is a little late, but you have to go to the hypr configuration, go to the line that it's called: "kb_layout=us", just change the "us" to your language, example: "kb_layout=latam".

Ehhh ..... why not just use git clone ??? And you do NOT need to press Y and then hit enter ... just hit enter when ever the default choice is correct. Even as n00b arch user, I know that "trick" with just hitting enter :D I will try and install it tomorrow, have long time wondering it this is something for me or not. My daily driver is KDE. When I unzip hyperdot it throws this error End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zip file or it constitutes one disc of a multipart achieve in the later case of the central directly and zip file command will be found on the last disk of this
@@whiskytangofoxtrot_ I already dual boot :D actually arch is different since we need to do anything on our own. So for the boot option, we need to set it manually. But yeah it works

?????? it's a script that downloads your needed packages and sets the configuration a certain way. There is no update file. Everything updates when you system update w/ pacman -Syu or apt update or whatever distro you use
