Thanks for the Tutorial! !! Please don't make the same mistake as me and install circuitpython before moving all your existing files on the pico to your PC, they will be wiped! 🙂

Thanks! Love the short and focused approach. Curious as to choice of editor/IDE. Why ro you prefer over Thonny?

A young viewer of mine (STEM student) got lost in the BOOTSEL section of this. I just had to try it for myself (had the Pico's for a while but hadn't played with them at all!). Once CircuitPython is installed there's no need to press the BOOTSEL again unless you want to revert back to the default condition.

looks like that behavior was implemented since last you checked, cuz it does that out of the box for me. Getting used to not having interrupt callbacks anymore was kinda sucky tho.

I like the esp32 and I'm pretty experienced with whatever Arduino ide codes in so thanks, but circuit python seems pretty cool

Use a Buck Converter. Do not use a linear regulator as it has a very low performance efficiency

They both have their upsides & downsides, for example, MP has support for multithreading & bluetooth, but CP has better libraries and USB support

@@LPGamingCZ how do i nuke it
@LPGamingCZ
@LPGamingCZ 2 года назад
@@polishcow2856 You need to hold the button on the raspberry pi pico before u plug it in your pc and hold the button until you plug it in and you see its plugged in on the computer. After that u will open the raspberry pico and open the index file. It will open raspberry pico site and you need to click at raspberry pi pico, then at your left u will see resetting flash memory so u will click on that. After that you will download the UF2 file and put that file on your raspberry pi pico. It will reset and you will be able to put the circuitpython on it again and it should work fine.
