Thanks and well done! I've been adding/rewriting/reworking my DSC collection forever to go as far as I could with separation of config data, but still pulled some good tips from your video. You kept a great pace and everything was well explained. ReverseDsc seems to of finally gotten an update on the gallery, but was very spotty for a long time and I've come too far to look at it.

Hi Jess, I followed along with your video as I'm a bit late to DSC and I plan to use it for a SharePoint deployment, but SP needs SQL anyway, so I used your video as an introduction. I created a couple of Hyper-V VMs on my laptop; DC & SQL, and I used the DC node as my PUSH node and tried to install SQL to the SQL node. It would not work for me until I installed SqlServerDsc onto the SQL node, but I have no idea why as everything I've read suggests that should not be the case. The error I was getting was: The PowerShell DSC resource DSC_SqlSetup from module does not exist at the PowerShell module path nor is it registered as a WMI DSC resource. + CategoryInfo : InvalidOperation: (root/Microsoft/...gurationManager:String) [], CimException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : DscResourceNotFound + PSComputerName : SQL
