I like the riving knife to have a light but positive action. The riving knife shouldn't wiggle or feel loose at all. The handle gives you pretty good leverage. It's adjustable so you can set it the way you like. Thanks
@@TheThoughtfulWoodworker but when using dado set, the riving knife is out of the picture....so the handle just sits in downward position, kinda loose?
@@waterbuddy92 Yes it's okay if it's loose when not in use. As long as it's turned fully downward. Sometimes the saw won't calibrate if you don't turn the handle all the way down. Thanks.
Hmm, I re-watched the video, and I'm not sure which video you're looking for. Here are a couple more dado blade videos for you. Infinity Dadonator XL... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LSf7uLt5V3U.html Sawstop Dado... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M5ILYtXDK1M.html I also have a Dewalt Dado review posting on RU-vid today at 3pm, and a Freud SD508 dado review video posting March 2nd on my channel. Or checkout the dado blade shootout in Popular Woodworking magazine (June 2023 issue #271). Any other links can be found in the description box. Best to you.
@@TheThoughtfulWoodworker Well, you mentioned that Jonathan Katz-Moses tested a dado stack in the Sawstop and carbide teeth flew everywhere. I want to watch that video.
