Ive followed all the instructions added a few dino additions and my game just refuses to have them. It says modified files detected when i load in but nothing changes in a sandbox
I'm like 2 months late but thanks so much for the help my man I had so much trouble installing mods with every other install guide, but this one made it simple and worked wonders.
I had issues tryna use Vortex, but after figuring out my manually downloaded mods went to my Downloads and how to get to my JWE2 files, I just made a file designed explicitly to move mods

Thanks a lot man🙏🏻 Your Gamefiles are the same whether you’re on Epic or Steam, most simple way would be to copy your sandbox files and send it to your mate. Put the file in the right folder and you will be fine😊
Why is my JW evo 2 crashing? There's ACSE, Content_VoiceOver, Content1-2, the DLC contests, Development, and main development Gamemain, then the aicore general and menu with a mod why is it not loading? ANd how to fix?
Hey, for some reason my game crashes every time I try to use the mods, I intalled a Tyranotitan mod and the moment I searched it´s name on the hatchery the game closes, do you know how to solve it?
or you need more general files like e.g the SpeciesViewer. Because some mods just need some more files. Before download it there should be an advice what you need additionaly. (2:53)
So I installed ACSE then when I load into game it tells me an error and that I need a version but the version I have is a higher version so I got the version It said but it still did not work, do you know how to fix this?
If its a New Species mod you can simply drop it into the ovldata folder. If its a replacement mod, which I think you got here you need to replace the original dino file👍🏼
@@danxj69 thanks, because i did the JPTG troodon and my game got borked so horribly bad it crashed and i had to uninstall the game and install it again.

First, thx for your video. I already put the dinosaur's file into ovldata , but why it just showed in the species library, I cant find it in the sandbox mode which means I cant create it in the game. really need your help
hi, quick question. i had a error with mods one time and i deleted the game and re installed it and i did the whole making mods work thing again and now mods don't work on my game, i try deleting the game and the files and i cant use any mods even the ACSE ones or the kai ones. can you help?
To anyone having problems, I may be able to help. I am on Windows 11 and the file system is sorta fucked and most people in these videos will be on Win10. So I had a problem with files being compressed on download, so all you have to do is extract them after you've moved to the files and then when it opens another file tab just drag and drop that file for the dino and you can delete the old compressed file. (note it will auto add another file, do not delete that one on accident it will cause crashing upon loading in that creature)
@@danxj69 When i load in after all these steps and thorough troubleshooting, the dinosaurs do not appear in the hatchery, they appear in the species viewer and work in that, but do not show to synthesize. Can you help?
