I can see that blade arms were likely replaced at some point, since it’s different color. Also I would have fans spinning in opposite direction on July since it creates more breeze.

Hello, thanks for the video, I just bought 3 of these, and your video will help me to put them in, but 1 thing I'm not sure of, I don't see a frequency change settings on this one, does that mean the 3 I bought will intervene one another? Or are they perfectly synced from factory.

They are perfectly synced from the factory. BTW it is not different frequency it is different code.

Why did you buy a new receiver? Did the old one go bad? Do receivers sometime go bad and prevent the fan from running? My fan stopped and I don't know why? I even checked the electric and everything is fine. It just doesn't run any more. Was gonna buy a new fan for a few hundred bucks but if it is only receiver I would rather do this

The old receiver was fault. Just replace the receiver if the fan is good.

what if all the wires from the fan are white? previous owner did it !!

Use ohm meter as follow : Put the ohm meter on range of 100 ohm and measure the resistance between two wires. If it is not infinite( the resistance should be close to zero) this is the two wires going to the motor. One wire is the hot and the other is the neutral. Now measure the resistance between one of the wires (going to the motor) and the light house if you get resistance 0 this is the neutral if not try the other wire .

We found ours was also too thick. But all we had to do was use a longer screw than supplied to span the little parking spot for the receiver. I could have use a piece of Gorilliah tape if I had to, to cram it anywhere up there I could.nice vid.
