Install of a Ebay Air Ride System 

Purchase one on line for 299 dollars two years ago and installed on my 2019 streetglide. Been on for 2 years no leaks no problems. Has 5 inches of travel. A much better ride.

Is there a "stop adding pressure" solenoid or "start adding pressure" solenoid? For people that just wanted to hit the switch and it goes up to certain height and then hit the switch again and it ONLY goes down to a desired height?!?

Neat build... I have a manual air shock in the Vic, its serves well and has lasted the life of the bike so far. I'd be a bit concerned about the longevity of this e-bay system, seals, connections and the air pump all seem to possible weak links, with the system under actual load.

I am ordering this kit I have 1995 ultra classic with a lehman trike kit compressor will be mounted in the trunk should work well thanks for the video

Hey yogi I’m confused with the wiring,on the pic it shows the red wire coming from the compressor wired to the relay but you say you soldered it to the red wire with the fuse..can you explain a little more please

Dude..im installing the exact same air ride and im.lost on the wiring...does everything need to go to the battery?! All ground goes to ground terminal and all red goes to the positive terminals?! The yellow one? 🤦🏿‍♂️

Very informative video. Good job on the installation but the system looks like problems waiting to happen. It is probably not that difficult to install an upper limit switch to stop the pipe from hitting the shock bolt.

This is great info! Love the idea of having an air ride system...Any thoughts on changing the kickstand setup? Is that needed at this point?

Why does mine leak air from the other side of the dump valve its also threaded I seen some dump valves have a control that alowws you to control how fast you dump it

So I’ve got this kit and wanted to tell you when I let the air out of my bike when I park, the crossover exhaust pipe touches my drive belt and has caused melted spots, looking for a way to fix that. Also maybe limit straps would help prevent it from going too high and digging in bolt into pipes

great video. would you be kind to put in writing what size of bolts you use for mounting the suspension on the frame . im from Denmark and have to do Google search for them :-/.

I've had mine for 2yrs had to put a Napa relay in it otherwise no issues

I have used this same system from Ebay for over 5 years. The only problem I have encountered was the line leaking. Usually due to my installation errors. Did have one shock fail after about 6 months. They replaced no charge.

Yogi...I purchased the same exact unit, and the only problem I have is an Air Leak on the Shock valve itself. How can I solve the problem? Is this something I can purchase at Home Depot or Loews?

They say that they fit on 1994 and up. What's different on my 1991 that wouldn't let them work?

Mine seems to be leaking from the dump valve but not from the fitting.. just letting air out :-/ any ideas?

Hey yogi I’ve been watching bought the same set of air bags and my toggle switch is not sending signal to pump to air up but it does go up on its own so I was wondering could it be a toggle defect ?

Hello, i was wondering if you can answer my question. Can i use the air ride suspension while i am moving or not? For example, when i am on a red traffic light should i have it on a lower level and when the traffic lights turn on green turn it on while i am moving?

Can the riding comfort of this cheap system be the same as the comfort of the expensive systems like - for example - Arnott?

Do you have any problem to keep air inside? I have the same kit and i can't hold bike up. Bike get low after few minutes.

Not bad but I also have concerns about how long it will last. Compressors are the weak link in all of those systems. Knowing that a name brand air ride can be $1500 or more thats not a bad price. Time will tell.

read the reviews on this system. found that air line fittings are a weak point. solenoids are cheap as well. wiring diagram is a joke. Some mentioned air compressor being weak. I installed on a 83 Goldwing. I added a fuse box with 5 relays cause the factory front forks are air assist. one relay for the compressor and on off tank switch. running 4 air solenoids. two are for up front and rear. two are dump front and rear. also added a dual gauge to monitor air pressure. once you figure out the relay system its a pretty strait forward design. mine is more complicated cause of the front forks plus the addition of air gauge. never mind the fact that this was never designed for a Goldwing. I've had the system for a year. I bought better fittings and more air line along with American made solenoids. I've had zero issues from shocks , air tank, or compressor. I've had no air leaks. now I have more in mine than the initial cost of the kit. but the damper on the shocks are more suited for a bike than the MA785 series air shocks for a corvette. That is what this kit replaced. its like riding on a cloud. even on not so good roads. Thing is I bypassed all the bad review stuff, quality fittings are not that expensive and I still have plenty left over for other projects.

Way to funny, I can think of 3-4 things to do with fixing the bolt and exhaust problem you had. Unbelievable that you would give it to the customer like that. Now a days it happens way to much where you go for a service and you pay for the service and they do the service for you plus you leave with one or two issues that they have made for you.
