Yes you are correct. Unfortunately I was teaching a class where I did not have administrative permissions on the PC . This usb install allowed my students to view the class videos without having to install any additional software on the PC. Cheers!
no no you didnt understand me, my bad eng... you can copy from home pc on 1 usb drive...then in school to others or..etc...same stuff but without portable app... just normal instal on 1 pc and copy past to all usb drives...and it can work on non administrativ compuerts(systeams...but jus VLC player no all apps)...this was great tut ty!!
For VLC player you dont need, to do all that...just instal normal VLC on PC or USB Drive if you instal it on PC Copy folder VLC from C:Program Files..etc.....good luck
+Joost Bazuin VLC works on Linux. I'm not sure about Portable Apps. I was helping out in a school with locked down Windows computers and this was my work around to teach the class.
