I am trying to install windows 10 Boot mode is UEFI and partion style is Gpt but After loading file and restarting it gives error Windows could not load boot configuration windows failed to install . What should i do . I have not backed up my data and while installing i have formatted C drive completely .
I did basically this but my pc blue screens on getting devices ready everything seems to work no dead fans all lights are on but it won't get past getting devices ready
Turn off csm (legacy boot option) is the key, or some systems will not boot in uefi, and probably install the windows in mbr mode, then u cant boot it using an nvme, cause nvme only boots in uefi and uefi only works with gpt partition mode, so, just turn off csm (legacy boot mode) while installing the windows, and remember to set the boot driver option to uefi
However can you help me with creating a bootable usb for windows 10 for UEFI. I have used many versions of Rufus but so far no luck. It's detecting only in legacy mode.
After complete installation % progress, I'm getting this error "windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation, reinstall Windows." But same problem in reinstallation.
My laptop doesnt have options to change the boot from Legacy to UEFI is it because its too old? Or will that option appear when i insert the USB and i converted the laptop's hard drive to GPT and when i tried to restart it it just started to show "No bootable drive -- insert bootable drive" something like that i don't remember very well and when i checked BIOS Setup the option to switch from Legacy to UEFI was not there please help me the laptop is my dad's work laptop so this is very urgent.
I have created bootable usb flash drive using rufus ( GPT ) when i set the boot to UEFI mode and choose usb drive it shows an error ( operating system loader has no signature. Incompatible with secure boot all bootable devices failed secure boot verification. ( windows 10 64bit )
Do you unplug the USB after the first restart? I kept it in last time and it went into new installation cycle... so if I remove the USB after first restart, it should boot into HDD itself and finish the installation/first launch?
It's okay now, didn't realised that it was because of my drivers, after I installed all the drivers my pc worked fine and booted a bit faster than my previous legacy mode.

Thanks my pc is unsable no solution. windows installation disk is gone after deleting disk 0 now windows don't update nor boot just wanted simple uefi installation 🥺 bootable pendrive refuse to connect search installation disk and worst part i cannot complaint cause this is all online and there's never garuntee.

Can UEFI installation run at old gear ? For example my Dell D630 ? If it enable Booting in UEFI how to make enabling? Last time I try to installing Windows on Samsung laptop in 2018 with UEFI is failed cause did not figure out what is UEFI
No, D630 was release in 2007 and doesn't support UEFI. Best option is to reset the BIOS setting to default. If it supports UEFI it will change the boot mode to UEFI. The only major benefit of UEFI is it supports disks larger than 2 TB.

Bcz have my data files on other 3 partitions. So it won't effect on that. Have to delete system reserved partition as well R?
if i have a partitioned hard drive in MBR partition and i will only reformat 1 partition with GPT, will it affect the other partition that is MBR? or should i clean up all my disk and start formating using GPT?
thanks for the tutorial. i see you deleted the partitions in both drive 0 and drive 1. why did you delete the partition on drive 1, and is that mandatory to change drive 1 in order to install windows 10 in uefi mode on drive 0?
Thanks for watching. No you don't need to delete the partitions of disk 1, and not even need to delete any partition on disk 0 if it is already GPT partition style.
A very good video an extremely helpful but may I suggest that you slow down in giving the instructions, you speak too fast , otherwise the video is perfect
Hello. Is it ok to just leave UEFI "Network Boot" setting as "PXE" after the imaging is complete? Thanks. We currently use f12 option to image over the network thanks.

Also there is very little literature that explains all of these things, wish I could find an up-to-date book that would explain each and every detail of these settings and the possibilities
will it affect another hard drives ? i have currently 3 hard disks in my computer all are in MBR or should i have to backup only one hard disk which i am going to use for installation ?

Thanks for watching the video. What is your sys spec? installing 32 bit will not make any difference. 32 bit Windows can be installed in CSM/Legacy BIOS mode. Consider upgrading your system.
