Hello! I want to buy Nakuru Safari. But the pictures of the floor and the sample are different. Do you have pictures of this floor installed somewhere already?
They alway show straight easy to lay rooms with herringbone. I have 3 rooms connected to each other while one room is in L shape. I guess it will be very difficult to lay the herringbone pattern there.
@@parquetvinyl1082 That is supposed to be a bathroom? And well I prefer glued vinyl strips/"planks" when going for waterproof floors... you can replace ANY part without any effort . (regardless of the pattern)
Hi, what do you exactly mean? I don't understand your question. About transition strips, you can install without transition strips up to 400m² (20x20m)
I mean they are assembling it the same way. Could they work it the exact opposite way or do the pieces require it to be installed in one direction? Could you work it backwards. I have to “backup” into a room so to speak
Parquetvinyl requires a floating installation and needs to be able to keep moving in the room. Of course, this is barely noticeable. Always leave a space of 8 mm all around the room. The skirting boards will cover this space. In some places, such as around a toilet, it is not possible to install skirting boards. It those cases, apply a line of elastic silicone.
Hi! Our ParquetVinyl floors are actually perfect to fit on another floor. If you send an email to hanne@lamett.eu, I can send you the techinical file with all the conditions the floor must meet.
Hi Urban Golfer! When you install our product Parquetvinyl, you don't need a transition profile. you can lay up to 400 m2 without using one. kind regards
If the packages are exposed to extreme temperatures for over 2 hours (below 10°C or above 40°C) in the 12 hours prior to installation, these packages will need to acclimatise. You don't need to acclimatise the packages in normal temperatures.
ParquetVinyl I contacted the email on your website for USA, but the email bounce back saying the email address is not active (northamerica@lamett.com) If you can please forward me their info so I can get a sample and check it out! Jbirdthe3rd@hotmail.com
Why do people put fake wood planks over existing real oak floors? Hardwood floors are real wood that can be sanded and vanished to look beautiful and last over 100 years.
It's a completely other type of floor. No more worries about cleaning and stains. Also, some walls in this room were taken away and there was no wood floor underneath, so they had to put a new floor on it :)
