Installation of the Indian Heated Grips Kit P/N 2881702

Wish This was a 17 chieftain I just bought the heated grips but would like to know if or how deep in to fairing removal I will have to do to install my wires through the bars

ACE LLC: I Liked your video, and will use the information to install the Heated Grips on my 2015 Chieftain. I would add is to use dielectric grease on making any electrical connections or after disconnecting any connection. The shop manual sucks because the Roadmaster installed Grips aren't even mentioned; except in the wiring diagram, and the outlay of the wiring on the Heated Grips. I believe the wiring for the Grips on the Springfield are similar, except on the Chieftain; you would need to remove the headlight assembly to access the Factory installed wiring harness connections. The kit for the Chieftain is P/N 2882424 and only comes with one switch not two or am I wrong? The Kit P/N 2882424 only comes with one switch, or did something borrow my extra switch from the Kit; now you have me wondering? I now wonder if the Kit is complete with only the single connect, and Indian changed the P/N 288111702 to include both Switches? Do you know if that is the case?

What are these heated grips like? Do they do the job?

Are we referring to the same Kit? Please advise if this is just a later model kit that includes the two power switches not just one? Thanks:
