Something is being lost in translation with the cabling of the hub and motherboard and the manual instructions are not any clearer. I think from this video That 1:one of the fan cables off the radiator connect too the rpm port on the hub 2: The cable from the pump connects to the AIO_Pump port on motherboard. 3: The argb cable from the cooling block conects to an ARGB port on the hub 4: ARGB in on the nub connects to ARGB port on motherboard 5: PWM in on the hub connects to CPU_Fan on motherboard 6: The remaining fan cable and fan argb cable connect to the hub Could you correct if any of these assumptions are wrong but please don't refer to the manual or the pump curve video as neither clears up what cables attach where.

I have always connected the ARGB cable from the cooling block to the motherboard - as it's closer than the hub itself. The RPM connector instructions on the manual are not clear, as it states 'The connector marked RPM carries the signal of the connected device to the mainboard fan header' - This one does not make any sense. I assumed you should connect a fan there?

I cannot decipher from this video or the manual, what wires plug in where. They do not identify the wire or the port on the mainboard in either location and it's getting pretty frustrating. Please identify both ends of each wire somewhere! There is a wire coming off the cpu connector and there is a wire coming off what I assume is the pump a bit up the hose line. I do not know what these plug into. I assume every single wire from the AIO fans, pump, cpu connector, etc, all go into the hub, and then the wires from the bottom of the hub connect to the MB. There is also a port on the hub marked RPM and I don't know if that's a special 4 pin compared to the rest of them. I've also got a cpu fan and a pump fan port on my motherboard and not sure which to use or if both, or what.
@bequietofficial
@bequietofficial 11 месяцев назад
One cable on the CPU block is for running the pump and the other is for the ARGB lighting. Here you can find more information about connecting a pump: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_jYQonIvgVg.html Which hubs to use depends on the motherboard. what if i already have a dark rock 4 on my mainboard installed? Could i skip the whole "installing the pump mount" part, and just screw the pump on top of the cpu? (with thermal paste and protection paper removal of course before that)
@bequietofficial

Hey, unfortunately, the Dark Rock 4 mounting kit is not identical to the Pure Loop 2 or Pure Loop 2 FX when it comes to AMD mounting. However, when it comes to an Intel socket, the mounting kit is identical.

I have a question. I got a Pure Base 500FX which already have a fan hub, and i want to buy a Pure Loop 2 FX 240mm which comes with another fan hub. The problem is my motherboard have only 1 argb header and i can't plug the argb connectors of both fan hubs. Is there a problem if a fan is connected to 2 fan hubs? Because i think of plugging the 3pins of the Pure Loop 2 fans into the case's fan hub, and the 4pins of the fans into the cooler's fan hub, but i don't know if that is ok to do, i don't want to fry something. Sorry if this is a stupid question but i'm more of a beginner, and thx for response in advance :)

Hi BeQuiet! I assembled a new PC with your products: power supply, AIO pure loop 2 fx 360mm, the case (pure base 500dx) and 3 other fans. I positioned the AIO in the front part of the case, placing the fans on the outside and the radiator on the inside, with the tubes at the top. Is it correct to put the tubes high up? Many people tell me that I did well, others didn't... please clear up this doubt for me!

I'm not be quiet! but I can help. Also there is no capital letters in be quiet!, they make too much noise. It's fine, as long as the pump or cold plate is not the highest point of the loop there will be no problem. There is air in the loop, getting rid of it all is impossible. With time there is evaporation that will occur, making it so that there is more air in the loop. Air will rise to the top of the loop, it is normal. Some air bubbles will be pushed through the loop, it is normal. IF air pockets form inside the pump or cold plate, it will cause problems. If air pockets form inside the radiator or a tube, it will not cause problems. Gamers Nexus have a video about it and Jayztwocents have a great add on for it, other people have videos about that.

Hey, since a certain pressure is created within the system, water cooling also manages to transport the coolant, even if the hoses/tubes run upwards. However, it would be optimal to lay the hoses/tubes in the lower area due to their service life. The water cooling would then function as a container and there would always be water on the hoses/tubes.

a push setup, but pushing hot from the case throw the radioter??? @bequiet! those fans should have been turned the other way right?
@bequietofficial
@bequietofficial Месяц назад
Fan orientation in an AIO radiator setup impacts cooling efficiency and airflow direction. Installing the radiator at the front with fans set to intake pulls fresh, cooler air from outside, aiding in effective CPU cooling but potentially raising internal case temperature. Conversely, mounting the radiator on top with fans exhausting air can help expel hot air, optimizing overall system temperature, albeit sometimes at the cost of slightly higher CPU temperatures due to warmer internal air. Both configurations have their merits, depending on your specific cooling requirements and case airflow design.

@bequietofficial
@bequietofficial 13 дней назад
The AiO is filled and you don't need to put any liquid in if you bought the Pure Loop 2 factory-sealed and use it for the first time. The coolant liquid which is part of the packing is only there to re-fill the AiO which we suggest to do so after around 2 years.
