The thickness of the tape measure tab hook is calculated into the play of the tab. thats why they are not hard fixed to the tape, they have a little play.. you just need to make sure you pull/push the tab depending on how you have the tab hooked

Hi guys, why is the day one powder coat much more shiny than the fab? Is the day one gloss powdercoat and the fab one satin?
