OK, removing those screws are a nighmare. You could remove the wheel, or there is actually a split bin holding the paddle on. I would suggest removing the pin from the old and new paddles and just moving the paddles to the old shifter assembly.
Thank you for your video! It worked for my 23 IS500. I think the wiggling part could be clarified as put slight downward pressure on the paddle towards the cable connection point, so it slips out of the steering wheel molding. Random wiggling kind of forced it out on one side for me, but on the other side I decided to really take a look at what was happening.
Bro, I'm loving your videos so far, I think the next mod is to do a complete chrome delete on the exterior and also maybe later in the future purchase bigger wheels, maybe like 20's
Thank you so much! Chrome delete is definitely in the near future! I have looked into different wheels, but I would really have to be in love with them to get them. I just like these OEM ones so much. I think I’d do more low before different wheels. I appreciate your input!!
I am really happy that I came across your page. I do own 15 is350 f sport. I do enjoy all your videos and do want to do the exact same mods your doing too. I really love that steering wheel and also will u able to tell me what side skirt are those. Thank you
Thank you so much Daniel. I really appreciate you. I’m excited for you to do lots to your Lexus! For my side skirts and all of my other mods, I have a separate mod list video earlier on my channel. It has everything linked in description too! Please let me know if I can help at all.
Thank you, I appreciate it! No I didn’t take them anywhere, I bought the Lexus paint and painted them myself. Not too difficult if you have a good environment to paint in.
Always love the IS, in my country IS 350 is way too expensive price costing around $110,000 to get one :/ and an IS 250 cost $45,000+ for a 2015. Wish i was able to pay the price what you guy pay in the US etc..
😄😄 Right! Thank you. I love it. I got mine from Zencarbonfiber. He has an instagram and a website. His website is amazing, you can fully build, customize, and price out a steering wheel. It’s zencarbonfiber.com . It’s the best way to figure out what you want. If you want something unique or custom, DM him on instagram. He can make pretty much anything! Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
On lexusboutique.net , or if you DM Raymond (who’s Instagram I left in the description) he can get alot of the same parts for cheaper. He gets them for wholesale price!
Good attention to details, I always wondered why they are still using plastic paddle shifters until now, it feels cheap. Any idea if this is doable for 2IS? Thanks
Thank you. And right! They should put aluminum in any car that they put paddles in. And not too sure. If you DM rays (who I linked in the description) and ask, I’m sure he’d know the answer.
Yes, they do fit! And nope, they are perfect. Function like OEM… well, because they are! 😁. Don’t forget to use code GREY3IS at checkout to save some $$. lexusacc.com/products/lexus-compatible-aluminum-paddle-shifters?_pos=1&_psq=padd&_ss=e&_v=1.0
