Hey man, how were you able to install that rear diffuser? I've seen online some people drill through the top of the existing bumper but I'm sure you've used a much better method! Also, what kind of material is the diffuser made out of? Did it come flimsy and is 3m tape able to stick to it? Cheers.
@@prodigy6X04 Hello! I used toggle bolts to install mine. I drilled into and attached the diffuset to the under tray. I then used some 3M tape on the outer lip of it. Some of these diffusers can be a flimsy plastic, but mine was a pretty solid piece of plastic. And 3M did stick to it. I always recommend using an adhesion promoter before using 3M on anything you don’t want it to coming off of.
@@Grey3IS wow toggle bolts definitely are going to hold very well, great idea, how many did you end up adding? Yes, I was deciding whether to get the plastic one but it looks great on your car so I might go ahead. The paint match for the diffuser looks great on your car. I have an Ultra white, deciding if I should paint match or keep black...white kinda sticks out like a sore thumb and gets quite dirty and I haven't really seen it done much for my color. How were you able to stick that top part of the diffuser on the bumper? Did you use toggle bolts aswell or was 3M tape good enough?
@@prodigy6X04 I used 3M for the top part. And I used 6 toggle bolts. It was probably overkill, but it gave me peace of mind. And I have seen a white version of the diffuser on a white IS, and it looked pretty cool!

@@Grey3IS When I went to install, none of the correct ports were open. Went into settings after reinstalling (somehow i hadn’t messed with it yet) but everything in chinese. It’s a basic chinese carplay plug in unit from ebay prolly
@@cultivatedrice I”ll definitely grab an HPS charge pipe when VF comes out with the unlocked ECU tuning abilities for the public. Catch cans aren’t necessarily needed for this engine/ set-up.

what’s crazy is i took my is 300 to get an oil change that was $71 on my lex app it says changing the cabin air filter will be $81 and the engine filter $63 im so glad i saw how easy it was to do it myself 😂

I have a similar system as the one you installed, the one I have is to replace the screen , the screen size was increased , and it also support CarPlay , android play and airplay as well .. my Lexus is 2015

How did you remove those flat head screws from the wheel wells? There should be 2 on each side. I had trouble especially with all the dirt overtime so I ended up destroying and prying all of them out. Any tups are advice? Did you run into the same problem too?
@@prodigy6X04 The plastic ones connected to the fender liner? You have to push a decent amount while twisting to make sure you don’t strip them. If not these, could you help specify? 😅
@@Grey3IS yes those are the ones. Not sure why they didnt use rivets lol totally had trouble taking them out and ended up clawing them out essentially. lol
@@theanimekid5407 it’s cool! Same platform, but great miles per gallon. It has a little bit different styling than the other IS models. It is not available in the US actually!
Hmmm, I don’t know. After Lexus spent probably hundreds of thousands of dollars on research and engineering to get the optimal ride and handling, I just couldn’t alter the suspension on my 350 like that but to each his own….
@@robraw101 Thank you! I’ve thought about a whole carbon trunk, but I kinda like the OEM+ paint matched look of the OEM spoiler. And these wheels are great, in every color too! For me, I think black hides their design a little too much. I have some new wheels coming soon anyway! 🥳
@@GEORGIABOY23 Definitely get the ones with studs attached to them. I only recommend using like 3mm spacers on your original studs. Even that could be deemed unsafe.
In one of your older videos, you had linked some different led lights. They were cheaper. Are these worth the higher price point? Or would you still recommend the ones on your older video? Thanks.

I have question! My radio from my 2015 Lexus is250 f sport doesn’t work so my screen and my audio don’t work can I use this as a replacement and get CarPlay too!!??
I just got my hood and fenders installed and hate i have that same fitment, this kicks ass that there is now an easy fix for this. Thanks for the video man.
