Hi I love the video I just got a Hornby elite and some dcc chips but I'm having problems setting it up I get the basics just but my locos don't move is how I wired the program track if possible can you do a video on this subject if possible
Laisdcc decoders are some the only decoders that will work with the hornby select especially if the firmware of the select is not the most up-to-date version. If you are having issue with your decoder I would suggest trying it several locos before hand if still having issues then it will be the decoder that is at fault and not the select. They are good low budget decoders but prone the failures quiet easily. They must be handled with extreme care.
Barnabas Junction Model Railway do I need to update the firmware at all? I’ve bought two of those laisdcc decoders and they don’t move at all not even the lights turn on
