Little bit of life update in this one along with a new (side) project - a Motoped Pro. I bought this in Oregon on my drive across country and after a quick carburetor swap had it going 55 MPH. Absolutley love this little thing and can't wait to do some more riding on it.
I installed the Mikuni VM26 carburetor (from TBParts.com), which is a solid upgrade for a bike this small. With a generous 26mm bore, the carburetor allows for a more improved airflow and fuel delivery, resulting in enhanced throttle response and increased horsepower. Compared to the cheap Amazon carburetor it had on it before - the difference is night and day. The Mikuni VM26 is known for its reliability and precision, making it a great choice if you're looking to elevate your bike's performance
The 125cc Lifan Semi Auto on this Motoped Pro is also a versatile motor that blurs the line between a moped and a pit bike. It offers the perfect blend of power and agility, making it an ideal choice for off-road adventures or urban commuting. What sets this Motoped Pro apart is the motor's semi-automatic transmission, offering the convenience of an automatic with the control of a manual. I admit it was abit wierd to get used to at the start (especially with pedals and no pegs). However, this unique combination delivers a fantastic riding experience.
