if you can't solder you can just connect your speaker wires to the nuts inside the box connecting the external hookups. works good for replacing thin OEM wires in cheaper boxes.
Why is it that when you found out the wire inside that box was loose, you guys just didn't decide to change it out with those bigger blue subwoofer wires that you have coming from the amp to the sub? I am sure you can spare some of that blue subwoofer wires so that there won't be a strain of signal going straight to your Kicker sub...
U got the 10 kicker? I'm getting some subs soon for my 2000 Toyota rav4. I like funk, rock and metal mainly. So I want easily audible clean bass but i also want to be able to bump some rap and have the boomy resonance that is associated with that type of music. Is this good or should i get the 12
@@dylanbaldwin7934 i have a toyota extended cab 02 with a kicker 10 comp c 2500 watt power anixoux amp from walmart 300watt sub it makes my review mirrors shake 🤫
I have the same box, same kicker, and a great AMP. But I’m not getting the bass I want out of it, I also have an LC2i, how can I get more smooth bass out of it, turn up bass boost? Turn up main?
Bobby Franks I have a 01 Honda Civic coupe. Small car, I want decent bass in my car not to much where my car sounds like vibrating scrap metal 😂 like some ppl do to there small vehicles, should I buy this size like these guys?
I personally prefer kicker over pioneer. Pioneer for subs hasn't been so good in my expense. I've actually never owned them but have heard them plenty of times and they aren't that good. Kicker for the price is way better.
PLZ HELP .. my amp has two bridgeable channels that push 200 Watts at 4 Ohms, 300 watts at 2 ohms & 600 watts at 4 Ohms bridged. one channel is burned out. I just want to hook up one big ass subwoofer. just blew my memphis 12"s can the negative on the burn Channel still be used for a bridge? so I can get a 600w sub run bridged or do I have to go with a 300 at 2 ohms or my math wrong? should I just get a 200 watt sub? & how many ohms would that be out of one channel not bridged? somebody help me understand this
So I'm just kinda getting into the 'sub life' and so what all do you use for your mustang, I have the same model mustang, like what kind of amp do you use and where can i get a cheap enclosure for a 10 inch kicker comp?
just get a amp that matches the power of your sub(s) and speakers and youre good but it can be a lot more complicated then that when it comes to what brand so I just recommend doing like 5 minutes of research into the different brands and which one works for you I have kicker amp and Rockford fosgate subs don't ask
I had the same problem one of the wires disconnected. they did a shitty job. I just added 8 gauge wire and it bangs even more that little wire is tiny.
@warriorplutotrent3827 the wires in the boxes off the shelf are usually pretty cheap and can cause distorted softer bass without as much punch as you would expect imo
so i'm wanting to start my sub adventure and guy at best buy said starting off with one 10" in the back of my 04 grand prix would be a good start. i want to test it out but still wanna bump. any suggestions as to that being a good idea or what brand i want to get for a 10"?
10" is fine, it gets very very loud. All the popular companies out there seem to be fine, kicker is very popular as well. If you find one you like, just check the reviews and make sure it has positive feedback.
How much space do they need to breath getting 2 gonna be side by side behind 3rd row in suv its gonna be tight they will fit but worried about the vents having space to breath
