Your title is Hand Crafted Homestead and I’m seeing plenty of hand crafting going on! Wool washing ready for spinning, collecting willow for basket making and animal care for sustaining the home stead. It’s all part of you and your family’s life and that’s why we watch. What may seem boring or unimportant to you is the opposite to us that lead a very different life. Let’s face it we’re all nosy neighbours at heart and just love peaking over the fence and through the window! Keep it going just as you are and loving all the family getting into vlogging too!

I remember when you first started this RU-vid channel…. It was just you. You tried to encourage your family members to participate but they were not too willing. Well they have all now come a long way. Especially your Mom! She is so charming in front of the camera, walking and telling us about her garden and the chickens. Go Karolina’s Mom!

Karolina we love seeing all aspects of Homesteading, doesn't just have to be the renovation. It can be arts, crafts, gardening, animals, cooking or just your lovely family enjoying a meal together. Many of us are stuck in city life and it's wonderful to see those who are brave enough to escape it. Understand though darling, the teenage years are difficult as you try to work out who you are as you approach adulthood. I wouldn't want to go there again. Be kind to yourself and those you love and it will all work out. ❤️😘

You may think that taking care of the homestead is boring but it is not! Your mom is unbelievably talented. I enjoy watching everything that goes on - not just renovations. Your videos appeal to different age groups at the same time so don't worry if you are not showing renovations. Homesteading has become more popular in the states in the past 3 years. It is very interesting to see how your mom manages everything. I admire her. I love the cooking videos and your little camper renovation as well!

Your channel might have started out as just renovation because you where doing that in order to move into your house, but it has grown to be so much more and so much bigger than just renovation. It's all sorts of things home made/ grown. Just like the name of the channel implies. It's gardening, sefl sufficiency, cooking, renovating, and anything else that could fit into that. Also good thinking to keep your personal life away from here. I agree with Ozzy that he needed the music while while he was working. Mum is amazing. Going from someone that was to shy to even be scene on camera let alone speak to now taking control of the camera and taking us with her while she works. Well done. Also the wool looked lovely. Would love to see what she knits it into

Enjoyed this video so much, as always. It's so interesting no matter what you are all doing. The animals are precious, and bunnies are so cute. Sorry the camera wasn't cooperating part of the time. I had never observed the process of wool preparation. It will be really interesting to watch your Mom make the yarn from it. She can do anything, so amazing. We had to cover our chicken pen with a wood support frame then stretched chicken wire over it, tacked it to the boards occasionally, and closed any loose areas with a thin wiring so no predators could squeeze through. I think I told you that we still would have problems with raccoons, opossums, foxes making a hole somewhere, and we would lose a few chickens. It is so frustrating because you work so hard and raise them from babies just to lose them. But that might help to have a pretty big running pen connected to your hen house. I let them roam around out in the orchard, rose garden, and our yard, but watch closely to make sure they aren't being stalked by hawks, etc. I know it's a risk, but I love to give them the chance to get grubs and insects. Sorry, I'm talking your ear off. Oh, loved the big warm wood stove. I have a wood cook stove stored in our barn and it's nice to know if things get bad, I could use it to cook, bake, and heat water. I loved your mom's video. It is fun seeing the differemt things everyone does. Glad they were able to get the stove fired up. Looking forward to more of what's happening around your homestead. Those baby rabbits were adorable. Tell your mom to make a screen to cover the wash tub when soaking the wool. That way she should get no extra plant material (pine needles) in the wool. I think she was describing a Roto-tiller when she was talking about working the garden. Take care and yes, the action sequence with Ozzie was cute.
