Welcome to Project Goodspeed where I try and upgrade my little Hatchback here bit by bit to make it a nice comfortable Daily Driver!!
On todays video I repair my radio wiring because the previous owner did a real number on it.....

Great video!! The wiring in my eg is a mess. I might try to install a radio wire harness because of your video! I also bought the LED bulbs for my gauge cluster and for the dome light. Does your EG have AC? If so, do you happen to know what compressor bracket an eg needs to run AC? Mine has the evap and some of the hose lines. The last person that owned it really abused it.

Glad i could help!👍 actually my eg does not have AC… sadly. But ive been trying to install it as well its just i haven’t found a car at the junk yard with all the parts, unfortunately. And a shop is quoting me 800 for an install soo im just gunna hold of until i find a complete AC swap.. sorry i couldnt help but i would guess any D series bracket should fit.. just a guess tho

Aftermarket mine. Mine was a slight mess as well. Subs and rear deck are hooked up. I have to rewire door speakers and tweeters 😭

@shleepyshtoner Im not sure exactly where i got mine but it was either amazon or crutchfield.com i was looking for a bunch of audio equipment from both of those sites that im not sure exactly what came from where… Definitely worth a look cause i believe Crutchfield had more available than amazon did👍

What if u put a aftermarket radio just like u did and no sound

Well id check the connector on the radio (power & ground wires), some aftermarket radios have there own fuse too so check that as well, if the radio turns on id check the speakers to see if thats the issue… but idk ive never had that issue before
