In this video I install a voltage booster from Voltage Booster Pro to up my charging voltage to over 14.5 volts at idle.

Over 2 years ago I installed an AGM battery and did the GM fuse mod. It has been working without issue but after a discussion with folks at Voltage Booster Pro they pointed out that running the GM fuse actually removes the fuse from the circuit as it is actually diode, not a fuse.
They make a booster that is high quality and easy to install. It has a high and low mode for different charging and we put a voltmeter on it to confirm.
Stock 4Runner Charging is 13.6 volts.
GM “fuse” charges at 14.1 volts.
The Voltage Booster Pro charges at 14.1 volts on low and almost 14.6 volts on high, at idle, while maintaining the circuit fuse.
